Had sent the following complaint to customer care videocond2h on 03/11/2010, still installation not done.
I had purchased VIDEOCON D2H go live kit on 23/10/2010 from Planet M,
Seawood (W) and immediately called on customer care no. for scheduling
installation. Work Order no. 3273598
I am sorry to say I am extremely unhappy. You make tall promises but
cant satisfy the bare minimum needs. All that i say below can be
verified from the recorded message you would have of my conversations
with your tele-executives (at start of every call we get a message
that the call is being recorded for training purpose)
1. I had specifically told him we are working people & the engineer
should phone and visit our residence for installation and after 4 pm.
He said the engineer would not visit without calling and fixing the

the phone no. given to him was wrong. My maid gave him the correct no.
but he does not make a call. Your telerepresentatives do not hear
properly i had given the correct phone no., even when I gave them our
pincode 400706 he was feeding as 4000706 and then saying I am giving
him a wrong pincode. I had to specifically tell him it is only 4 and
two zeroes and not 3 zeroes. He asked for the Dealer name when I told
him Planet M. He says theres no such dealer. I am given to understand
Planet M is part of Videocon family. How can your people be so
3. Again I called I dont remember the date it could be 26th for
scheduling installation & to see whether contact no. has been given
for rectification by you engineer and am given request no. 21025968
4. Since no one visited for installation, I called on 28th but since
your system was slow he just emailed my request for installation
without giving me any request number.
5. On 30th I called again for scheduling installation, I was told that
I need to recharge my account since the engineer had visited my place.
when I explained your tele-executive that no installation was done and
the engineer had come without informing me, he would just not listen.
I asked I would like to speak to a senior, the senior was busy with
calls, I was holding on for more than 30 minutes, after which you
tele-executive (not the senior) told me he would reverse the amount
debited and send the engineer for installation. Complaint no. 21259869
6. Today is 3rd November, 11 days since I purchased your product, I
called once again and have been told that refund was not done since it
said installation chages have been deducted only once and as I was
holding on the call was abruptly terminated.
I have the following points to ask
1. When are you going to give me the setbox & install the D2H. What
happened to your promise of 48 hrs.
2. When no installation was done why were the charges debited to my account.
3. If you do not wish to install, kindly refund the Rs.1390/- I paid
for the Go Live Kit. You can keep the Rs.300/- instalation charges as
donation for services not rendered.
4. Kindly dont ask me to recharge again for installation. There are
better players in the market. Either install or refund the amount. I
am not going to pay anything more other than the monthly charges after
the free period lapses. Keep your promise also of 4 months free for
gold sport offer/3months for new diamond offer.
I regret I ever purchased a videocon product, I am already facing
clarity problem with videocon LCD due to which I was going for
