Vodafone — Never port to Vodafone

I am yet another unfortunate subscriber of Vodafone who can't change back to Airtel. Mistakes happens in our life and I have done a serious mistake by changing my mobile connection from Airtel to Vodafone. After being in Vodafone network I had all sorts of problem and when I tried to port my number back to Airtel, I can't as Vodafone is not allowing to do so. Even after completing all the formalities and waiting for more than 12 days to port the number, nothing happened.
When I called their useless customer care they told me that they can't help me and I have to contact their store which is 70 KM away from my place.
I think they should send beggars to street if they don't have any customers in Kerala.

My number is [protected], I have been complaing several times since october to deactivate the live aarti and everytime its promised and nothing is done. I am really fedup of your service. When i called the last time the coustemcare gave me 321 and asked me to send a message stop and the aarti will be deactivated but its useless. Is there any solution for this . Hope to get a favourable response atleat every day 4 rs gets deducted . Evrytime i recharge first thing is this money gets deducted...

I request you to please do something otherwise i need to go in for some other operator. I liked the vodafone and all my friends told me not to take and now i know why they told me.. I have realised the mistake i have made bytaking the vodafone number.

As i hv lil bit knowledge of the rules nd regulation of all telecom service that there is no right to leak the information about any particular person's number like call trapping or giving all data of call except police or cbi or any other in legal case
bt one of my friend who have got a lot of information about my call log from your Vodafone customer care like; when i did call nd whom i called. when i asked my friend that from where he got, dat kind of information, i was shocked that he has collected these information from your Vodafone customer center. i m requesting u, please take some strictly action so that we can feel save or secure otherwise dis disgust irresponsible mistake which has been creating by ur call center's staffs will make us in trouble...

my friends' friend who do work in ur Punjab call center as i discover this from my friend when we are doing conversation...i never wants again otherwise i will have to take action against u. i m very disappointed.

I have the new post paid for my mobile([protected]-used myself and [protected] used by my wife) connection both are in my name.

Given the office verification on Tuesday 28th Feb 2012 and residence verification on 30th Friday Feb2012.

I don’t know no why my numbers were disconnected from Friday 28th Feb evening. This is total frustration, don’t know where is the error.

Since I have given the numbers to all the people I know in the world, they even cannot call me has the incoming also has been barred.

I cannot throw this 2 numbers and take the prepaid connection since I gave the numbers to all, I am very embarrassed the way process is going.

To my suggestion you take all the verification of the new customer and activate the number, instead disconnecting in between the usage.

Kindly activate the connection and confirm soon as I don’t know whether this complaint is to the right e-mail id.

I just received a missed call from an outside country. When I called back I was told he is calling from Bandra ( Mumbai) and that based on my Vodafone sim card no. I have got a lottery of 10lacs and asked me to check my sim no. and call back and confirm.
Naturally i understood its a bluff and checked out the ISD code to realise it was a Pakistani No.

When I called the Vodafone customer care to inform this, I was very politely attended and they confirmed that it's a spam.

Must appreciate the way the customer care executive handled it.
I agree with Vodafone address verification issue. I already have a post paid connection that I am using for couple months now, I added a new phone number under CLIP and submitted all the papers in my office vodafone store. I got nearly 6-7 calls and each time they kept asking me my address. On the last call I told him that I have given my address multiple times and it is very irriating to keep repeating it and how many more times I should expect this call?
Eventually they disabled my number stating address verification not done.
Now I am pissed off, first of all if I am adding a new number to the existing line, why is there a address verification required? Second thing even after submitting all the documents they are arrogant to cancel my number.
I had this corporate connection and I am not going to use vodafone ever again!!

The person who verified the address is Ramesh from Bangalore, who verifies address in HSR layout area.
