[Resolved] Vodafone — Error in the billing - postpaid | |||
Dear Concern My Mobile number is [protected]. I am availing Vodafone(postpaid) mobile services for the past 3 months. I have never ever checked and verified my mobile bill in the past. The bill is always around Rs.1000. My mobile bill for the month of July-August was Rs.2929.53/- on account of around Rs.1800+ on account of browsing charges. This bill raised an alarm and I enquired into it. I registered a request with the vodafone store in Somajiguda for rechecking of the bill. Subsequently I was refunded the excess amount on 7th September, 2012. This uncalled bill has resulted in severe mental trauma. I request the Vodafone senior management to take some concrete steps in avoiding such errors again in the future. My excess bill was a substantial amount and thus have catched my attention but there will definitely be many cases where the excess bill is very minimal and thus the billpayer might just overlook and pay the amount resulting in unaccounted income for the mobile operator.
