[Resolved] Vodafone — Misleading and Harassing Customer | |||
Hi, We were using Vodafone Service provider(Earlier Hutch) from past 6 years. But waht happened this time , make us feel so bad about it. My mother is using vodafone postpaid number , which she wanted to convert to prepaid.Beacuse of daily promitional calls from Vodafone were making her life miserable. ANd seriously those calls are so irritating. Even tellibg after those stupid callers that we are busy, sometimes they won't stop! They raised a request from Post-Pre at vodafone store near Phagwara chowk , Hoshiarpur. But nothing happened. Finally she stopped using number and told Customer care taht if they won't convert she wont pay. Even without making single call, she had to pay those stupid bills. My father who is senior citizen(but vodafone customer desk girls really don't care) visited store 10 times along with my mother. If required , can provide satff names also. There behaiour was so rude. Once she shouted at my father and said why coming daily hewe and disturbing us. Send you son with all documents , then we will do. Then my mom said - if we are not having any son, so you won't convert our no. I can't under policy - Vodafone customer satff (girls) not treating old aged customers and asking to send their son!! My mom is working lady and every alternate day she has to visit store and nothing hapened. Finally she also lost her tamper and was lil rude to staf. But it worked as per my parent's understanding. BUT HERE CUMS FRAUD. she convinced them to pay all pending bills and said within 24 hours your number will be prepaid. Poor guys TRUSTED vodafone. And girl gave strict instruction- Do not recharege your fone for few days. Being over clever she palyed a game. After waiting fr 5 days , I along with my father visted Store. Girl's first words to me-- You came with this GUY? what does it maen?? Insated of greeting anyone. They are talking like this! Then i said we need to check sattus of number and response made us shoched. She told num is PERMANENTLY DISCONNECTED. Customer wanted post to pre and they disconnected. Rich Vodafone!! After discussing , she told it may take 1 month from post to pre. Thank God , we are educated and awrae of process. I told it takes mak 48-72 hours post to pre. Then she said it's vodafone and we aork in this way only! I just made a comment thaen how you guys gonna implement MNP - in a year. Then some head satff( again a rude female ) was about to eat me. What you know about MNP. We are not going to launch and all. I told Maa'm it has already started and will be cuming soon to Punajb. But if we could have stayed in store for more 5 mnts , she might have started abusing. We left with Thanks a lot mam! Atleast we are educated! After thatt i called Vodafone cutomer care from BSNL mobile (As we had only one vodafone num in Punjab). I asked them to tell me procedure for raising Vodafone store staff compalint. But poor guy said - NOT POSSIBLE MADAM> PLS VISIT OTHER VODAFONE STORE IN NEAR BY CITY LIKE AMRITSAR<LUDHIANA ETC. Aha agin hats of to such intelligent staff. To set a complaint i should travel to other city. So Now i want: We want our Security Refund. Educate your staff. How to talk. Atleast basic manners. Process should be ther. Let customer know if you wanht Post-Pre, Vodafone will make you fool for 2 months and then finally will Disconnect Number. Vodafone Mobile Number : [protected] Thanks.
