Vodafone — Non-Activation of Postpaid connection-9873199336

I purchased a new Postpaid connection from Vodafone Mini Store
( Munirka, New Delhi), on 19 April 2008.

But it hasn't been activated yet,
So I called the custom care and they told me they can't help me
and I'll have to go where I purchased the connection.

Now every time I go to the mini store they tell me your verification is pending and it will be done tomorrow, and I have been going there on daily basis, but the answer remains the same.

The validity of the mobile has expired they have barred all calls.

Can anybody help me and tell me what has to be done.

Vodafone — prepaid to postpaid conversion delay

this has past more than 20 days that i apply for prepaid to post paid conversion but yet to get it operational. they barred the incoming and outgoing calls on 25 th of april but didn't issue a sim card to me. i was in continous touch with the franchisee people but they didn't offer any help, on 2nd may i walk into their walk in centre at faridabad which is more than 25 kilometres away from my home and collected the sim personally, which has not been activated till now. i am helpless as i am not getting any relief from their customer care also. if they don't have any solution they cuts your call and you can't do anything. it looks like their is no regulation on mobile operators and they break the laws fearlessly.i am in deep trouble as it is causing me a big loss economically as well as socially.

Vodafone — Told to have STD at 1 Rs on all networks but charging at 2.40 RS

I received a call from Vodafone executive Miss Sushma from
Phone#[protected] saying as you have ICICI platinum card we aoffering as
scheme for Vodafone with 199 Plan.
Scheme described was as follows:
1. Rental 199 without any other charges
2. STD at 1 RS to all network without any charges
3. Auto debit of bill from ICICI bank

I agreed and went for the offer.

But when i got my connection activated and received the welcome letter, it
says STD at 2.40 Rs on all networks.

I called the concerned lady Sushma, she says its there for 2-3 days and
then finally on 25 April 2008 she syas sir you will have to take extra
pack of 99 RS for availing the STD pack for 1 RS.
I told to disconnect my connection. But she refuses for the same also. I
tried calling up the customer care also, they also refuses to disconnect.

Vodafone# [protected] taken as new connection.

As the connection has auto debit the money will be automatically deducted.

Please help me out. This Customer executive really make fraud stories and
then there is not a single person even to hear the customer.

Vodafone — Autmatic Ugradatoin to ECS facilitry

hi
My phone number is [protected] and my relation number for the same is 1.7832316. It has come to my knowledge that in spite of me paying my bills, in the very first week of bill payment, Vodafone is also debiting my account through the ECS channel.

when i took the matter into higher authorities, they promised to send me a demand draft of the excess amount charged before the 27th of April. so far nothing has come up.

in order to take the matter up again i tried calling up the customer care who have so far put me on hold for more than half hours every time i call them. its pathetic waiting for them listening to the "you &I' music for more than 30min every time.

Somebody help me cause i m to get a substantial amount from vodafone.

any help on how to get to the higher authorities or any other way would help me a lot.

Vodafone — Disgusting Customer service

Dear Mr Rajesh,

This is to bring to your notice the utterly poor, incompitent, disgusting, horrible, repulsive, ( i m falling short of adjectives here ) services that are being rendered by your Company to the customers through your Customer Care Department. Your agents employed as customer care executives need to be "EFFECTIVELY" trained in the meaning of the word " CUSTOMER SERVICE". They are not only unqualified for their jobs, but also a great shame in the name of Good Service. An international brand like Vodafone employing such absolutely worthless people who do not do understand and do justice to their job, initself states your failure as a company in imparting quality, good and rewarding services to its customer.

I am being forced to write this email because of the completely revolting experience i faced at the hands of your exectives for the last couple of days. I spoke to atleast 7 different executives, almost all of whom were impudent, unfriendly, impolite and totally ignorant of your processes and were not even capable of retrieving information from proper departments. On 4 occasions the calls were disconnected by your executives ( sunita, I did not quite get the name of the other executives. However i have recorded these calls which i will send in my next email.) because i wished to speak to a Supervisor. On all occasions i was made to repeat the same things again and again, with absolutely no outcome or solution to my problem not to mention the long hold i was placed on before the executive came back on line to tell me about their incapability to assist me in any way.

IS THIS HOW VODAFONE IS TRYING TO GIVE SERVICE A NEW NAME IN THE INTERNATIONAL MARKET.

Finally, a polite executive Jose came on the line ( his apparent politeness was maybe due to the reason that i was taping the call ) and asked to repeat myself again and refused to transfer the line to the manager ( i am sure there isnt a need for a manager in a service industry if he isnt accessable to his customers, maybe that post should be scraped ) and said i should speak to the supervisor first. I had no choice but to wait to be transferred to the supervisor, Which i was after a good odd 25 - 30 minutes. Your Supervisor Tushar / Prasad came on the line and the story starts from the beginning again. I had to explain everything, he inturn put me on hold while he checked with various departments and came back to me without any resolution ofcourse, but he promised a call from the concerned department within 2 hours. It has been 2 days since and i am still awaiting their call. And to top it all, i receive a call from your collection department asking for payment. I had a dispute over the amount that was charged to me in my bill for which i was speaking to your execs, but they did not have any explanation. This has left me with a completely, totally bad and bitter taste in my mouth.
My question is
1) What is the purpose of having such Vodafone Customer Care Centre's across the country. Is it to fool the Customers and to collect revenue for the company only? In the interest of your Co.goodwill please do away with such pathetic Customer Care department and stop fooling and harrasing the customers by employing such staff. " PLEASE STOP EXPLOITING THE CUSTOMERS "
2) Why Vodafone Customer Care Department which is having an international Brand image doesn't train the Customer Care Centre Executives how to behave with the customers? They dont even deserve to be doorkeepers, leave alone being in Customer service.
3) ) Why is the customer's time being wasted by making him hold eternally. The time is precious for all and why is there a delay in everything, whether it is providing information or solutions to a customers query. Even call backs committed to customer are not fulfilled.
4) In todays market where competition is so steep, shoudnt the co aim at quality over quantity. Instead of trying to procure more customer, shouldnt you be upping your service standards high and meeting your current customers requirement.
I would be highly obliged if i would get an explanation on this. I am saying obliged as i am not even sure i will receive a response on this . I would consider myself lucky if i did.

Now for the last time i am repeating myself in the hope u will take the neccessary steps to action it. I have been using the no [protected] for almost 7 years. i requested for a temporary disconnection of the card for the period 04 April - 3rd May. I reactivated the card on 4th May. The bill pending on this card for the period 04 march - 03 Arpil was 1157. Now the amont payable is showing as 1626 as against 1157 which was actually payable. I want to know what is the differnce of 469 that has been charged to me when the line itself was inactive for a month. How can u charge me for something i havent used ???

Expecting a solution as well as an explanation on the rubbish treatment met out by your customer care executives.

I will send the taped call in my next email. Would expect to take these people at task and if possible sack them because they do not add any value to your company's image.

A Harrassed and disgusted Customer
Rohita Nayak

Vodafone — Terrible service.

It is impossible to get through any vodafone helpline numbers at the time of emergency. The listed number is [protected]. When one tries to call it, whether from a landline or from a mobile, an automated voice says" we are happy to help you" and then the line goes dead. This happened today i.e May 12, 2008, at 7:40p.m, atleast 10 times. I wanted to block my sim because my mobile was stolen, but i just couldnt get through to any one.
Is this the kind of customer care service one expects from a company that spends crores of rupees on ad campaigns to lure customers? Its very sad. Very sad indeed !!
I have not received any mail till today - Why is it like so? In this age how long does it take to mail a bill details ? Where and to whom should I communicate to get this done? Is it Chairman's responsibility?
i am in roaming now [protected], sir any thing offer is there for me to cal at 25p or 50p, i want to talkto my mother in AP
My pre-paid mobile no. is [protected]. I would like to say that Vodafone is one of the worst company in customer care. there is no proper address or toll free number for lodging complaints in their website. even though you call up them, they won't give proper reply. for the last two days whenever I call a number any time it shows network busy. If these companies does't have technical capacity to serve the customers, let them close their service and go out of India. There is no mach between their advertisements and service. People should file mass consumer complaints about these companies and claim compensation.

Vodafone — Extra Amount Added

My self Raman singh my mob. no. is [protected]. my complaint is that vodafone charged me access amount in my march bill. (Vodafone mobile connect) . when i talk to customer care executive he told me that you activate that service but i dont, and i m using nokia 1200 mobile phone . but when i called again customer care give me an refernece no is[protected] and[protected] . he said that we solve your problem but till date Vodafone dont give me any kinds of response and now vodafone deactivate my out going service without any intimation and charged me late payment charges also .I have not recived vodafone bill from last four month. pls tell me what i do .

Vodafone — lifetime card in not activated

Dear sir,

yesterday i purchased vodafone lifetime card from my delear he told me that this has been activated within next 1 hours but next day when i talked to the vodafone customer care she said that this process take 48 hours.

my card no.is [protected]
