Hi,

I am using Vodafone from past 2 years and didnt face any issues with them. But all of sudden from past three months I am facing Network Issues in my area. I have called Customer Care around 5 times and gave complaint and the only answer I get is please wait for 4 days and your problem will get resolved. But unfortunately that 4 days never comes. As I am not getting propoer response from CC I have sent an email to corpcare.chennai and the worst part is they will reply only after 2 or 3 days for any mail. They have asked me to wait for 10 days and today they sent an email stating that they can not do any thing in this issue in near future. Most of my calls are getting disconnected in between and I am simply paying the bills.

After this mail I have decided to switch my connection to another provider and to my surprise they have blocked the porting message from my number. I am getting "Hi! You have entered the wrong keyword. Please enter the desired keyword and SMS to 1900" even after sending the message in the correct format.

Could any one please look into this issue and get this resolved.

Hi,

I have registered LOT of complaints from past one and half month. You can check the complaints details for my number in your system. Whenever I call your CC for update, I use to get the answer it is escalated to next level and they want me to wait for next one week or 10 days till the last mail I received from Corpcare (posted below) that to even after follow-up.

"In continuation of our email dated 01/06/11 expressing your concern regarding the network coverage for your mobile number [protected].

Keeping customer requirements in mind, we have planned systematically to ensure that our network is among the best in the country.

However, your place of residence falls in an area, which we cannot cover in the immediate future. We regret the inconvenience caused to you in this regard.

Kindly find the docket number[protected] for your reference."

I have sent an email on 26th May and got response on 11th June. This is what your response towards any request from customer??????

After this mail I planned to switch over to another provider but unfortunately I am unable to get UPC number. I have tried the same format which you have provided for PORTING but still I am getting the same error message. Can anyone from your team call me???

Regards,
Pradeep Kodali
Without providing any resolution how can I provide the feedback???

I just sent an SMS to 1900 from my Vodafone chennai number to get UPC for MNP into Aircel.

I am getting the reply: "Hi! You have entered the wrong keyword. Please enter the desired keyword and SMS to 1900" even after sending the message in the correct format.

I sent the SMS in the format PORT 996XXXXXX7, but they did not accept this message. What a stupid operator Vodafone I am dealing with. I am sure they are not going to give back Rs. 1 they have charged me for sending that SMS. Yet another reason for me to HATE VODAFONE. They want to leach last bit of money from customers even when they want to port out.

Tried to call 198 complaint service of Vodafone, before the ring could get through, I went out of signal. If I can't get signal even in the best location for Vodafone in my home, why the heck am I going to continue with them.

I HATE VODAFONE
second time I tried from a Motorola phone. Again same message from Vodafone. Another Rs. 1 stolen from my by vodafone.

I HATE VODAFONE.
Third time I tried using the same SIM in a Nokia phone. same message from Vodafone. Another Rs.1 stolen from my by vodafone.

I HATE VODAFONE.

After calling 198 complaint number of Vodafone, I got a reply to try again after few hours.

Vodafone — Discontinuation of Network

Dear Sir,

I am a regular customer of Vodafone services but in past few days I experienced the worst service by the Vodafone mobile services. My Vodafone number is [protected]. Its a Delhi/NCR number.

Issue: On 5th Sept. 2011, I went to UP West due to some medical issues, so my number went on Roaming. I also made a recharge of Rs 95 internet pack of Vodafone. On 23rd Sept. 2011 during Mid Night when i was accessing Internet through my mobile, i received an sms from Vodafone that my internet Pack has been exhausted and i need to reactivate the pack again in order to resume the services. I immediately disconnected the internet access. Suddenly i received 12 sms from Vodafone that my i have a low balance on Vodafone prepaid. I checked my balance and it has been deducted to Rs-129 from around Rs 28 and all my services was terminated and they even removed the network from my mobile. For some reason i went to Noida 24th Sept 2011 and there my mobile resume the home network and then i checked the balance and it was unbelievable Rs -301. I made a recharge of Rs 200 on that day as i was unaware of this deduction by Vodafone. I tried to call Vodafone Customer Care (198) but it repeatedly saying that i have a low balance, so i this call can not be connected.
When i again came to roaming, the network from my mobile again lost. Today when again I tried to make a Recharge of Rs200. I am still unable to get the network. I dont even know my Rs200 recharge has been updated on Vodafone or not. I am not able to receive any call nor sms.
I also checked my Data log and i found that the total upload and download i have done through my mobile is around 900MB.

Now here are my 2 main concerns that why Vodafone deducted this huge amount from my sim as i did not exceeded the limit of Data transaction of 1 GB and i also disconnected my mobile as soon as i received an sms from them and how come they blocked my mobile from network services due to which i not even unable to recharge my mobile nor even able to Customer Care and who will be responsible for the lose of Rs 200 which i gave to dealer for the recharge.

I never expected such irresponsible behavior from such a reputed company.
Now, I am feeling that they just looted me.

I request you to please resolve my issue as soon as possible.
My alternate mobile #: [protected].

Thanks,
Hello Vodafone Customer Care,

My number was not switched off. As i mentioned on my complaint the network services were terminated on my Vodafone number ([protected]) by you. So, it showed to you switched off. That's why i provided you my alternate contact number [protected].
On 1st Oct. 2011, I went to Noida again and i made a recharge of Rs200/- and then tried to register my complaint to 198 (Vodafone Customer Complaint department) and again i faced the worst Customer Care services of Vodafone. I called 198 Customer care number 6 times and your all customer care agents either routed my call to wrong department or disconnected my call in middle or misguided me by providing wrong information. After 6 calls to your customer care department, i am still not sure whether they have registered my complaint or not. They didn't even provided me the complaint number.

However, i will also send u an email to the email address provided by you above. I hope you will resolve my issue to your best.

Thanks,
Vikrant Mittal
I have purchased a mobile broadband device in Vellore on 08/11/2011.

Datacard No : [protected]

Executive Name : Mr.Rajesh

Postpaid TL : Mr. Rajkumar

The Day-1 when the above mentioned guys demonstrated me about the broadband, network speed was fine with what they brought (DEMO Card). Even I can feel somewhat speed when I purchased a new device.

Post 3 days, the speed has gradually came down and started providing less than 80 kbps. What I was told by executive and TL is, the device supports 21 Mbps and in my location 5.1 Mbps is available and suggested me to go for a unlimited plan.

Actually the device supports only 3.6 Mbps (max) and the speed available in my location is 80 kbps (max).

I trusted their words and now feeling why to continue this service. Planning to withdraw this connection after my first bill cycle since there is no response from the executives even sending several SMS's (as they never pick my call).

Guys who represent Vodaphone should not make customers frustrated; atleast acknowledge to the phone calls and SMS.

Hope the management will look into the issue and acknowledge to my concern.

Can I have an update on this issue?
I am using Vodafone number [protected] from past 8 years , I have network issue at my Home , I hardly get the connectivity on my Phone ,I am chasing Vodafone customer support from past 4 months. every time they say it will fixed in 10 days. But it never gets fixed. I am really frustrated with the service Vodafone provides.
I have also been facing this issue. The connection works perfectly fine every where, but at home there is absolutely no signal. When trying to serach signal manually also, it shows every other operator in Bangalore - Tata Docomo, Airtel, Aircel, BSNL, Unitech, Idea, Spice...but no Vodafone connection. My number is [protected]. I stay in an apartment close to Mantri Woodlands, Bannerghatta Road, Bangalore. I have been staying here for almost 2 years, and never had this issue earlier. Not sure what to do with no connectivity in my phone.

Hi,

I had port out my two number from Idea to Vodafone in March 2011, my one number is using my brother and he is staying Bhosari(PCMC-Pune). There is no coverage in his house. I gave many complaints about the network issue but no one took care of it. When I tried to port out from Vodafone to Idea, but it was rejected by Idea.

Please suggest what can I do.
I didnt get any call from Vodafone side for the network issue. these false promisses getting since 1.5 yrs. worst service by Vodafone
I stay in Vijaya Bank Layout, BG Road.
Been trying to contact Vodafone CC for around 1 year, until now the issue has not been solved. Whenever I contact them they say they are either searching for a place to install a new tower or are in the process of installing a new tower and also because my home lies in the 'outskirts'.

Actually the cellular network and as well their customer support was good during 2011 period and before. Must be that they are spending much on advertising nowadays.
My family members & the neighbors too face the same issue and are planning to shift to Reliance. Way better network than Vodafone & does not drop calls as far as I know.
I never hate Vodafone, but now I hate VODAFONE 'INDIA'.
Hi,

I hope a necessary action/solution will be given with regards to my complain posted here in your website. i have complaining vodafone customer care and made several mail complaints to nodal authorities to regarding the same. often i used face network issue in my mobile whenever i connect to internet. for a complain i need to contact [protected] CC no to register issue. these people would react as if their money is invested in it rather than understanding the issue morally, it depends on the agents who are trained. when the calls is asked to be transferred to supervisors they wont respond and ends up disconnecting my calls due to not responding properly. i shall share the complete mails sent and received to vodafone so far based on the response i receive to this complaint. thanks
