[Resolved]  Vodafone Postpaid — Harrasment and threatning call by Vodafone

After six months of disconnection of Mobile No. [protected], i received a threating call from Delhi Police Commisioner on the 3rd December afternoon, that he has an arrest warrant in my name and will come to arrest me at 6pm. He gave me the
number of an Advocate J.R. Mishra [protected]. he asked me to call him and try to settle the matter or else he will get the cops in front of my home in the evening. i was petrified and terrified and fainted at the very first thought of it.
When my colleagues in office called the advocate, he asked to pay an amount of 2510/- immidiately and send across a mail with the bill receipt to address [protected]@vodafone.com
i requested for a dissconnection of my number on the 2nd of June as i got a job in Bangalore and had to move from Delhi. My account also showed a bill plan change which i never requested for. they made me pay 2510/- against an outstanding of 2380/-(i got to know this when i went at Vodafone and checked my account)
I am 21years old and a Low BP patient, who is staying alone in Bangalore without family for the first time in my entire life. the kind of threatening that they gave me could taken life out of me. I in the past six months never received any reminder of any outstanding bill . because i cleared all the payments before getting the number dissconneted(they dont dissconnet without clearing the dues!!!) . my current number is [protected], i request you to take some action, as i am still not over the whole senario. you can understand how it must have been for a person who has never even seen a police station apart from in movies.

Vodafone Postpaid — Connection disconnection with reason

Hello sir

i have submit my complaint about no. +91-[protected] on 2 jan 2010.
from day to till now 5:25 pm 4 jan 2010 my mobile is still not activate they have also deactivate my incoming calls also.
today i went to vodafone store around 10:30 am. and they told me that will activate with in 1 and half hour. i ask them why my connection suspend. they have no reason. just say market move disconnect. i say what its mean. they say we r not clear what it mean.

today on monday ihave to go to new delhi for business work. but becuase of my mobile not working that why i cancel my meeting there becaue with my business mobile no i can't able to contact them there in new delhi.

from my side there is no way that they disconnect my no., i have pay bill in advance. and still after almost 50 hours has pass my no. is still not working.

plz take some action against them. my business is getting loss because of my mobile is not working. they have banned my incoming also so no one client can also contact me because my mobile can't received calls.

I JUST WANT THAT PLZ AS SOON AS POSSIBLE LAUCH MOBILE NO. PORTABILTY facility. then these company will not do like this

Vodafone — Irritating customer care service

I am having a horrible life time experience with Vodafone, previously i was airtel customer i dont know why i had made the choice but i am stuck with it for lifetime since there is no network inside my home for airtel. I had recharged for 200 rs to vodafone but the dealer failed to submit my document and now i had to do that . Okay but when i went there in vodafone store the executive told me i had to get the dealers signature in the application (nuts ??? ) Anyways that was arrogant and total SOB and i thought there was no point in submitting him the document. I asked for a complaint form to protest and they told you can write it in registry/notebook(awesome!). The customer care number was also not working there. Now i know why they are HAPPY TO HELP becoz they DONT HELP.

Wait it is just the start.. i called up the customer care to explain my woes the lady who pick the call was a mean _ (i will leave that to your imagination). I explained and she said that you have to do that otherwise there is no other go never listening to my end(is that all they teach at vodafone, never ever listen to customer!). She commanded me and i took another vodafone outlet address to find it in vain and went to Chamarajpet to submit it. by the way i leave in Basaveswaranagar. There the lady took the application and told your connection will be activated in half an hour, no dear you might have told half an year! i might have heard you wrong thats the reason i has still not been activated even after submitting the document after three days and i dont know i cannot reach customer care since they have blocked my number so i called using my friend number i was able to reach them(wow! happy to help again).

I told the lady about my problem and told them about there pathetic service and the lady told me to use professional words only(gosh if only their work was professional!). I told her that pathetic is not a filthy word and why am i delayed? she told you have to go and check it out yourself(i love it when they say that!). i said why should i do that and she said since it is your connection you have to do that. Now i am wondering but buying this sim did i involuntarily signed any agreement stating i work for vodafone and do their work has mine.. driving me crazy.. my suggestion stay away from there pathetic customer care.. please...

Vodafone — short notice to submit identity proof for prepaid even i am customer from last 7 years

i recived sms from vodafone that as per goverment requirement they need my identity proof even i am cutomer from last 7 yersa in this 7 years they ask for identity proof many times and they sms me on 29/1/2010 and last datre was 30/1/2010 such a short notice i reached vodafoen store in malad west sunder nagar
i gave my identity driving licence as a proof and a photo copy they refuse me rudely that signature doesnot match the one miss mamta is very rude in malad vodafone store
the driving licence is issued by goverment in which the signature is scanned and the signature comes spread
i myself when then also they refuse to accept my documents and were very rude
another vodafone from lower parel is also talking rude to customes

i think they are doing it purposely because i am life time member and they want to discontinue the lifetime customer soo they are herassing me i need a explation why only vodafone ask if the rule is for all other service providers
they are playing some game by which they dont have to giv lifetime service
and the store exectuvies and not goverment authority to verify

Vodafone — unwanted calls and same number issued to others

i had one vodafone num.But unfortunately, i lost my mobile. There after i didnt taken back that num in use.
But now the same num has been issued to other person. unfortunately my friends called to that num. but thereafter they came to now that, num has changed. later i managed them by giving them new num.
but problem is they people, who has been issued the same num, taken my num (once we tried to that num to confirm that it is not in use) when called. Thereafter they are calling me, sending some msg's. i warned them, but they are doing the same. I thought to give police complaint... its not a matter.
But i was confused that how these vodafone people give the same num, that had been issued previously to someone. this is really disgusting..... please take any action not to happened so.........
