[Resolved] Vodafone — Overcharge monthly rent | |||
I had opted for a 3G plan on my I-phone o 23rd November 2011 and was told by Vodafone customer Care executive that I will be charged monthly rent on pro-rata basis, since the new plan starts between the billing cycle. However, Vodafone has charged me full monthly rental of 3G plan for the usage of 18 days. When I enquired about this overcharge, the customer care executive explained over phone that Vodafone has stopped to charge on pro-rata basis since 1st November and now complete monthly rental is being charged even if the new plan is activated in the last week of the billing month. The customer care executive also claims that the previous executive might have mentioned pro-rata basis charge by mistake. I understand that the Consumer Complaints is an active department and would certainly help me to get some justification of these misleading information being spread by Vodafone through their customer care executives.
