Due to there mistake (wrong CUG plan update in there record) My cell phone bill raised to more than 1200/- within 20 days . And also without sending anykind of information they cut outgoing on my number., ([protected]) Already i raised issue two or three time but no respond on vodafone side.,

Vodafone — Billing without usage

Couple of months back Vodafone representative by name Mr. Manish approached me with offer of two sims and I was quite impressed when he explained. While accepting his offer I had made it clear that I did not have hend set and it may take time to acquire handset. He promised that unless and until I started using the sims there won't be any billing.

To my shock and surprise I have receivedbill for Rs.600. Sims are lying unused in absence of proper handset which fact was made clear to the reps. It apears that all these reps are trained to misrepresent and fool the public. No wonder Tax rules are being amended to recover tax.

If any of Vodafone responsible executive/officer/nodal offier or anyone else want to know the true facts they are welcome to see the documents and facts for themselves. However this is not way to chear the public.

Vodafone — Wrong package activativated on my cell

I have post paid number 971199XX00. I requested to apply STD pack @149 which gives me benefit of free STD for a fixed number of minutes.
Vodafone took the request and activatived Local pack @ 275 wrongly for local minute usage. This caused me a good bill because I was expecting other plan to be activated. I requested for reversal of charges and apply correct requested pack . I am running behind team from last 10-12 days and they have accepted the mistake too but I have got two mails where they are promising to resolve it in two days but nothing happend in 4 days too.
I wrote to nodal officer also but resolution part is too slow and no idea when it will be resolved.

The worst part is that customer support team members denied to give me a ticket number for this. I have only reference number.

Vodafone — wrong charge

i have activated roam like home plan in my mobile no. in month of march . this is working fine.
But i received my last bill, then lot of charge for against roaming charge. I called customer care .then i got information from them my plan is deactivated in month of June. so i want to no whether can any service provide charge any plan prier information user. whether it possible. kindly suggest me to at this case what i came do against company
There is no response yet from any NODAL team of Vodafone. I was assured that they are working on it.
Till today, I have not recieved any call to address my issue. Nobody is serious. This is a BIG SHAME on such a big company like Vodafone.
I myself tried to call customer care and talked about status and refund. She said that I shall get call in next 48 hours and today its already 4-5 days and no response.

My number is [protected] .Vodafone is a bunch of cheats- who are more preachy than anyone else!" Happy to help" it seems!! An exceptioally rude customer care staff- Absolutely non transparent policies. I shifted from a corporate account to individual account and that is where my misfortune started. Activation of wrong plans (both mobile as well as data)- I asked them for a 199/ 2 GB plan- which was promised to me by THEIR VODAFONE STORE- they do not have the decency to honor what their own people promise! Only post my request for activation of data plan- the services were activated on my handset- But to my horror- they billed me at 10 P/kb- A bill of 2100 for 3 days!!!! To top it all- they have the cheek to say that we agree we should have informed you and that we will provide necessary feedback to relevant team (although am sure there are similar promises made day in and day out) but you will have to pay the bill- why should I pay for something i did not ask for or enroll for!!
they say these are default services- but my question is I did not ask for it- Plus when I am specially asking for what all will I get as a part of my plan- they comfortably choose to refrain from providing complete info. Just being online for 15 minutes and surfing through various consumer forums- mind you without an effort- i already have seen about 20 odd complaints where people have exactly the same complaint- random charges have been levied on the bill as a part of default service- This is nothing but dacoity!!

Absolutely no attempt to empathise with the customer!


I am currently pregnant and have a 2 year old child- My line was disconnected on 21st without any prior info and the fault of hypercity store- which has been accepted both by the nodal desk and Ms Anita- I was stranded on the road with no way to reach my husband/ or my child’s day care!!!- So much for customer sensitivity
Absolutely no attempt was made to sort out my problem till I started writing on social networking forums

The so called default service was NOT active on my phone till before I placed a request for data plan (2 GB/ rs 199- as promised by your store which was later not honoured)- It got activated only post my mail for activation of a particular plan

It is an absolute cheating that the customer is kept in dark and later un necessary charges are slapped (Have about 20 other complaints online which are exactly the same as mone- not all customers can be wrong!!!) Or the organisation who preaches in "Happy to help" is about all words and no action and believes all the customers can be taken for a ride!!


Now these shameless cheaters who are always happy to help have come up with new idea to pay their taxes to the government,by cheating the customers for no fault of theirs and always being happy to help(cheat) by wrongly charging free services under the pretext of default services.

This is regards to the exorbitant billing done for my vodafone number +91-[protected], I&#039;am not convinced with the responce that Vodafone has sent:

I would like to draw your attention towards the following points:

1. I&#039;am using a corporate plan of Vodafone in which there was facility to use unlimited internet @ Rs.99 through Vodafone Live.

2. No such condition was communicated before hand that this plan is ristricted only to Samsung Mobile Phones and cannot be used on apple devices.

3. After putting the SIM in I Phone, I contacted Vodafone customer care Executive, clearly mentioning that I&#039;am using a corporate plan in which I get unlimited internet at Rs. 99 through Vodafone Live.The executive didn&#039;t mention anything regarding the ristictions of the plan and helped me with the
settings.

4.On 3rd April after getting the calls from the Vodafone call center regarding the huge bill amount to be paid Rs. 9417/-. I contacted Vodafone Customer care at once. The Executive on the other end apologized and said that the revised bill will be sent to me shortly as this is the case of wrong billing. (You can refer the recorded conversation, which is available wih the company for the quality check).

5. I have also sent many mails Vodafone assist and appellate (Mumbai-India), which I think is formed to make only one way communications, none of queries/Mails sent by me were answered.

After getting no concrete response from the customer care executives and the corporate assist, I would like to escalate this matter further.
The billing that is generated is because of the negligence of the Vodafone executives. Being a customer I cannot face the brunt of somebody elses neglence.

Its regarding strong complain against Vodafone.

For the last month i got mobile bill Rs 5700.00.
Last to last month also it was more than my usage which i paid that was Rs 1300,00(Approx).

Hi Vodafone Officer,

I am a postpaid vodafone customer from the past three years with good track record of paying bills without nay fail via ECS Facility . Unfortunately last month I was not in to situation and took long leave for my marriage in midst of tight schedules I could maintain the balance in my account. This lead to ECS cancellation. Normally it wont appear but this instance I even not got time to look into my account . I explained the same to Customer care executive and got confirmation from the customer care executive that there will not be any late fee charge.

Till now I did not get any request# or any update on the same. Over and above I received a bill intimation for last month as Rs 2191/- including the last month charges . To be honest I really shocked to get such high bill which in any case comes in my normal use age . It is evident from my previous bills my bills lands up with 500 – 800 on average monthly . I really suspect and believe that the bills raised on me needed to checked and should be given waiver as I have not made calls drastically . Hence I request you to allow reduction on bill on the basis of average call ratio.

Again I found that the bank has deducted the ECS penalty bounce from my account. Currently I am going through tight financial conditions and this sort o[censored]nplanned high bills and penalty will effect my family expenditure adversely . Hence i request you to take appropriate actions to waive off the excess bill and allow to me regularize the payment as per the previous bills.

Also I request you to change my payment facility to by cash from ECS.
Being a privileged customer, I would like to get my problem solved on a priority basis.Kindly look into and do the needful ASAP.

This is to inform you that I am having CUG connection having cell no. # [protected]. I took a plan to Rs. 199/- per month, having 600 minutes call free. From last two months no free call facility ahs been provided to me by Vodafone, without giving any reason to me. I have called up the Vodafone customer care and as per them there is some mistake in the billing by corporate section I have to contact them. Therefore I have sent more than 25 emails to the following people, but not response. If Vodafone can’t provide service please stop the services to my mobile.

It seems Vodafone is not at all interested in listening to the customer. Due to Vodafone fault I am paying more than double bill from last two months.
I an Alok Prasad using Vodafone post paid number [protected] at New Delhi. The company has sent a bill of Rs3000/ for my usage during March/April period. The company says that I made two ISD calls of duration 35 mins each on a particular day . I am repeatedly telling that I have not made any ISD calls .Further I sought the complete detail of ISD call like country and number .The company says that the detail cannot be provided as they donot have the same .Further I asked them why my bill exceeded the credit limit assigned to me the company is reluctant to give any reply . Further I brought to their notice that the cell number is used by self for last more than 6 years and I have not made a single ISD call as i donot know any body abroad and accordingly I have not asked for ISD facility and similarly I have not made any ISD call now .The charges are bogus and needs to be reversed immediately .Further I am asking company to disconnect my number immediately till the issue is resolved but the company is not ready to do so .Pl help
Wrote e-mails to appellate.[protected]@Vodafone.com number of times that the request for activation o[censored]nlimited data plan was given but limited plan was activated.

The appellate responded stating that &quot;we have heard the call made to the call center and found that the request was for limited plan&quot; and as a customer I denied to the fact and requested to send me the call recording so that I can clear the dues.

The appellate denied stating that its not there in company&#039;s provision to shear the call recording with the customer hence I requested them to guide me with the procedure so that I can get the call recording legally.

There is no answer from Vodafone hence will wait for 2 more days and file a ligal case in consumer court.

Vodafone has offered me 1GB 3 G free for 2 continue months. Earlier i used Rs.99/- per month for unlimited 2G. I acepted the offer for 3G free for 2 months. After using the 1 months I saw my billing has done very high by Vodafone. I writer several mail visit store but no body is ready to hear they say that when free plan is there your regular unlimited 2G plan can not use. This thing they never told me. It should be like after free usgae I should be charge on my regular plan but they are charging @ of 3G. Mail conversation with vodafone is attached.
