[Resolved]  Voltas — Poor Service

I am a TATA employee and I have bought Vertis elite 1.5 ton split AC from "Sri Maruthi Aircon, Saligramam, Chennai" on May 2009. Installation was done by 2 young guys who are inexperienced and did a very worst installation. I again fought with that agency and they corrected the installation.
Within a months time, i have a water leakage inside the room. On complaining to voltas they again send inexperienced service persons from the same Maruthi Aircon, he did some adjustments and went off without even checking and we kept on calling again for 5-6 times in this 4 months. This time i requested for a senior service technician and he detected that the cooling unit has to be adjusted and he wrote that in the service report and went off saying that someone will come and do ot. Again no one responded for 4 days, upon calling them one person came without any tools and he said that he had not brought any tools and assured that he will come again but as of today no one turned up. This makes us really frustrating and i am sure i will not recommend this TATA product to anyone because of this worst service. Does voltas have such bad dealers who does not care off their customers?

Voltas — HUGE CONSUMPTION OF ELECTRICITY

i have a tower ac of voltas.i am shocked to see that they have so poor after sale service sataff.most of them are dumb and uneducated.there have been more than 20 people who came to my place and couldnt fix the problem of the compressor of the ac.last product purchased by me of voltas.EVERYBODY JUST STOP BUYING PRODUCTS OF THIS STUPID COMPANY.

the service is extremely bad .My one year old got serviced by Shubham Services Sector 11, Noida thrice .
This authorized service centre holds no responsibilty of providing service on time. I had called 10 times to call the person and then they keep the AC for 2 to 3 days for repair.
Kindly take action and provide information to me.

SAMSUNG-Electric Shock on ACs — Poor Service, Inexperienced Dealer, Inexperienced SAMSUNG service persons

I bought two ACs from SAKSHE Electronics, R.K. Salai in Chennai last week and they told us that, installation will be done at fix cost (addl. charge for the wooden log if the Window AC not fit in the existing hole) and we agreed too. Service engineers took 3 days to install the ACs with lot of problems and from yesterday onwards, there is a water leakage from the Split AC indoor unit which is causing electric shock on the building wall and we immediately switched off the AC.

Resulting in, I had a bad experience with SAMSUNG and SAKSHE Electronics who is not at all taking care of the customer problems.

From the installation, I haven't used both of the ACs for at least one full day due to lot of issues with both ACs from the beginning and their engineers are not told us about how to keep the water pipelines and creating social problems apart from the technical problems.

1. Window AC water is going on the building wall which is affecting others in that building and received multiple complaints from them and due to this I put off the Window AC from past 2 days and we explained the same to SAMSUNG and SAKSHE and we need to wait for 24hrs. This is a fitting issue which is causing and they have to respond to the customer immediately.

2. Water leak (heavily) from the Split AC Indoor Unit and I called their service center people and conveyed about the problem. They told us that, engineer will come and solve the problem but nobody turned up. And now, they are asking me to call up the call center number and call center people are saying "you need to wait for 24hrs).

SAMSUNG service is very pathetic and I personally advice you all to think over on an alternative product even you put 1 or 2 thounsand(s) extra to go for good sleep (not a VIO-sleep from SAMSUNG) and SAMSUNG can not grow up if they keep dealing with SAKSHE kind of dealers and SAMSUNG's inexperienced service engineers.
Voltas and Tata both are synonums and they do'nt care for complaint.

Voltas — Not functioning of cooling

Three numbers of spilt AC 1.5 tonn made of voltas from local dealer Shyamjee Store, main road, Jharsuguda-768201, state - Orissa, Country - India is not functing properly also not pooling as per scale. Several complains has been lodged and the local servicing centre, Sriram Honda, Jharsuguda is not meeting the queries and complains. It is the matter of grate regret the local serivce in-charge is behavior properly. So i am to inform you to take immediate step repairing / replacement of the concerned ACs. Thanking U.

We purchased a water cooler from M/s JMJ Traders, as on dt.06.05.08. But this is not working properly last 1month. We complaint your authorised service centre M/s Swift Aircare, Shop No.10, Chauhan Market, Sector-44, Noida. Mr. Khurshid has visted from above said service centre as on dt.09.05.09 vide service report no.2351 and he said problem will resolved with in one or two day's.
But today 20.05.09 nobody has come to solve the problem. So please take action as early as possible.

Voltas — Voltas ELITE - Low grade Service

Hi,

I bought this AC less than a year back and my swing was broken 3 months back by the technician himself and now they had not repaired it from the last three months.
the voltas is a big company n still their servise ie vry poor...they dont attened their customers well.
we have called them so many times n we waited for them for 7 days n we hvnt hot any good response...
they jst lie n do notinh for solving d customer"s problems...
I had bought voltas minimagic water dispenser 3 months back and it stopped cooling. i lodged a complaint and got it repaired. The day i got back the dispenser it still was not working. I lodged another complaint but nobody contacted me for 3 days. I called their service centre no. to know the status of my complaint and was surprised to hear that the status reflecting there was "call closed".
I had to lodge another complaint and a representative came to see the problem. After observing he asked me to send the defected dispenser to their service centre in ludhiana for repair. I protested that it was their mistake to have send me the defective piece without repair so why should i bear the expenses of sending and then carrying back my dispenser. But the respresentative would not listen. I got the dispenser delivered to the service centre and its been 4 days and still the repair has not been done. The service centre guys say it will take another 3-4 days for the dispenser to get repaired. All this matter is known to the service manager in Ludhiana area whom i had called atleast 3 times for the poor service i am receiving but nothing has been done. i dont think the company (voltas) knows the importance of after sales service. Its really sad to see that a company from the TATA stable does not recognise the importance of customer satisfaction???

I, Sachin Chawla, resident of 183, Punjabi Colony, Narela, Delhi-40, purchased two units of 1.0 ton split AC from AMBICA ELECTRONICS, Bawana Road, Narela on 21-04-09. They sent two mechanics Mr. Surender and some another person to install the AC’s on 22-04-09. The mechanics installed both AC’s but taken one of the drain pipe with them which was given with AC by the company. I told to Ambica Electronics about this matter, they noted my complaint and assured that my problem will be solved soon, but nothing happened so far. I again met Ambica Electronics but they said that I should have contacted Mr. Parvesh (the head of installing team & owner of Prakash Refrigeration, Sanjay Gandhi Nagar). After this I asked Mr. Parvesh for the drain pipe, he gave me the mobile number of Mr. Surender (who installed thr AC’s).When contacted Mr. Surender, He argued with me very badly and misbehaved with me and said” hamain pipe ke baare mein kuch nahi pata, aapko jahan bhi complaint karni ho kar lo, main company ka aadmi huin, koi mera kuch nahi bigad sakta”. I was shocked when treated so rudely by a person who was an employee of such a renowned company. I sent a request to the customer care. Mr. Rajul Pratap who registered my complaint (Complaint Number- 09AP243021 Dated[protected], assured me that my problem will be solved on the same day and the problem was solved for the short time because the mechanics connected the hard and heavy water supply pipe instead of the light weight pipe which was given by the company. That pipe fell off just after a few ours. Now, every time when I switch on the AC, water is coming out of the AC and spreading in the entire room flooding it. Now I have been complaining since 24-04-09 regularly (complaint numbers with the dates respectively are 302145 date[protected] and 09MY044182 date[protected].
I also contacted Mr. Sumit Talwar (Service Manager of our area mobile number [protected]) many times but all in vain. Please solve my problem at the earliest possible and take a suitable action against the erring staff of your company and train them suitably to be sufficiently customer friendly.

Voltas customer service is nothing but a joke.The AC technicians are uneducated and illequipped.
For cooling problems they offer as wierd explanations as:"This AC is one star rated so it's not cooling properly!".

Well what does one do on hearing explanations like this?Pluck his hair off??
I am Amit Chaturvedi from bhopal. We purchased 1.5 ton Spilt air conditioner last month on 26 may from Tarang Electronics Bhopal. Regularly its out of order, doesn, t give cooling properly.We have also complaint in Tarang Electronics, but he avoid it & told that here there is no service centre for voltas in bhopal, u had to purchase AC of samsung.My overall experience is very very bad regarding this Voltas AC.
First of please tell, who install ur air conditioners.

Voltas has very poor service. Mohyal Air conditioning and repairing had taken an AC for repair and promised to deliver it on a Sunday. Inspite of repeated follow ups and calls, the AC was not installed.

Well they did listen and sent a person immediately.

Voltas — AC not working and after 8 days of lodging a complaint still not attended.

On 27th April we have log a complaint to Voltas service center about our new just one month split AC is not working. In first call they said that with in 24 hours you call will be attended. Which did not happen. From then every day we are calling then regarding the same. still they have not attended the call. On 30th April i had call with Voltas senior person Mr. Satya Prasad and he committed me that my complaint will be attended on priority bases. Which till now has not happen. Then yesterday also i call them and I had a chat with Mr. Swapnil Ghodke who is most senior person from Voltas. he also committed me that today they where going to attend my problem. Which still has not happen. Now I called then and now they said me that tomorrow we will attend your complaint. Now this is to much. Voltas service center is careless.

Please look into this as we have purchase new AC for this summer and that we are not able to use it.

Voltas — Poor performance

Bank of India purchased 3 Voltas split ACs (1.5 ton) from local dealer M/s Garg Electronics Jind (phone[protected], M-[protected]). We are not satisfied with the post sale service of the dealer/seller.We are disappointed.
Kindly look into the problem urgently as there is no positive response from the dealer.
