[Resolved]  Voltas — Poor Service

I am a TATA employee and I have bought Vertis elite 1.5 ton split AC from "Sri Maruthi Aircon, Saligramam, Chennai" on May 2009. Installation was done by 2 young guys who are inexperienced and did a very worst installation. I again fought with that agency and they corrected the installation.
Within a months time, i have a water leakage inside the room. On complaining to voltas they again send inexperienced service persons from the same Maruthi Aircon, he did some adjustments and went off without even checking and we kept on calling again for 5-6 times in this 4 months. This time i requested for a senior service technician and he detected that the cooling unit has to be adjusted and he wrote that in the service report and went off saying that someone will come and do ot. Again no one responded for 4 days, upon calling them one person came without any tools and he said that he had not brought any tools and assured that he will come again but as of today no one turned up. This makes us really frustrating and i am sure i will not recommend this TATA product to anyone because of this worst service. Does voltas have such bad dealers who does not care off their customers?

Voltas — defected ac

I HAVE BROUGHT A VOLTAS AC & THE BACKSIDE COIL IS DEFECTED FROM THE VERY FIRST DAY. WE ARE COMPLAINING FROM A MONTH.BUT OUR COMPLAINT NO. IS TILL NOT ATTENDED.

I purchased two nos 1.5 tone Voltas window AC from M/s.Pankaj Electronics Bhiwadi, But both pic are defected ac, many time complaint in Voltas Company & Pankaj Electronics but not any action till date.So You are requested to please replace our AC and take action please.

I have purchased two Voltas Verties AC in 2007. After two years the remote of both the ACs are not working. Many times the Service Engineer of VOLTAS (M/s Timex, Ranjeet Nagar, New Delhi) visited our place but could not able to repair the remote. The Engineer told us that the remote is beyond repair & they will change the remote for Rs.975/- I agreed and told him in July, 2010 to change the remote but till now nothing has been done. Finaly the Service Engineer told us that this modle is VERY OLD (2007 MODEL) and they do not have a new remote to change and the whole PCB should be changed of both the ACc that costs Rs.2500/- per AC.

If Company changes models in every 3 years then who repair these ACs

Voltas — WATER COOLER

CHAUDHARY INTERNATIONAL is a dealer in Kota for Voltas products. our water cooler get fault 6-7 times within warranty period but still they are not replacing the defective water cooler. we ahve write to Volats and Chaudhary several times but still they are not replacing. It is a clearly Harashment of customers.

From last 5 months i have complained regularly regarding the problem in ac to distributors but they didnt given any response here then from last one month i gave my complain to voltas customer care in hyderabad but then also it was avoided by them and didnt got any response till now. I am not satisfied with your service in agra. i purchased this model because of its good service but now i come to know that it is very poor.

i have 1.5 tun voltas splite a/c , i done complant at coustomercare that ac is not doing cooling, complant date is 12-5-11 , serviceman come & he take 400 rs , give me report that your;s ac compracer is damage so it will be change with in two days but they are not come in two days , i call coustmercare to what happen, they says that compracer is out of stock today is 25-5-11 total days 14, my ac is off , very-1000-very poor service inder khurana-[protected]
I have lodged numerous complaints since i bought voltas 2 tonn window ac regarding formation of ice on front grill and on the compressor,i have paid thrice for gas refill which is Rs 7500/- but my problem is not getting solved ,just 7 days back i have paid 2500 to AAR AAR ,authorized service centre in Amritsar owner sukhjit Singh mob no [protected],he has refilled the gas and put 2500/- in his pocket and just the same day the ice formed on the front grill,on contacting again Mr Sukhjit Singh,he assures me that he will sent his technician but his technician never comes to my house for checking my ac,then after he stops answering my phone,this is not expected from leading ac company of india,i have conatced numerous times since i bought the ac on voltas toll free number but my problem is not getting solved ,i m very much emabarassed by service of voltas that being a member of heriatge club,a club consisting of top hoteliers,corporate houses and affluent persons,i am thinking of circulating a message to all my fellow members not to but voltas ac ,this is last time i contacting volas,i have no other option to throw voltas ac from my home after this

I lodge the complaint regarding on non cooling from my Voltas Vertis Plus Split AC (1.5 Ton) on 16th September to Voltas Customer Care[protected]. The executive confirmed me that the technician would visit my place with in 48 Hours and will rectify the problem. The technician visited my place on next day and charged Rs. 400 for his visiting charges. He confirmed me the problem has been found and there is a need to replace the fan fixed in the outdoor unit of the AC. He confirmed me that he will come on next day (i.e, 19th Sep,2011) to fix the problem. But to my surprise there was no call from the service station or technician for entire week. After waiting for entire week it was me again who contacted the Customer Service again, on this they assured me that they will check with the workshop on the delay. They put me on con call with Workshop Manager and assured me as they don't had the equipment (i.e fan which needs to be replaced) in their workshop that's why they were unable to replace the fan in last week but now they are in possession of the fan and they will definitely replace the same on Monday (i.e, 26th Sep,2011). But again added to misery there was no call from the technician for next two days. On Wednesday I got the call from the technician and he told me that the fan which they have is not supporting the motor of the outdoor unit which is under no fault. On just checking his intention on this part I asked him the cost part of the motor and on this he told me that he will get the best discounted deal for this. My question to the Voltas management is that if this is their propaganda to earn extra amount from their customer who choosed their product from the market when other products were also available there in the market. There is no call from the customer care on the follow up the case and it is me only who is chasing these guys. Its 1st Oct, 2011 and still my AC needs to be repaired from the workshop, if they are not able to serve their customer there is no need of 24x7 call center. Totally unacceptable response from the voltas customer care who have no control over their workshop. Now its 17th day and still my problem persists the same.

Voltas — Unacceptable Customer Service

I lodge the complaint (11SP1604559) to Voltas Customer Care on 16th September, 2011. Its the 17th day since I lodge the complaint and still there is no response from the Voltas Customer Care. I had made around 50 calls to Customer care and all went in vain as am still waiting for the technician to visit my pace. Totally unacceptable response from Voltas Customer care. It seems they don't have any concern for their customer and their technician are of no use. Its now the 17th day since I lodge the complaint complaint and I am still at square one.

Voltas — Delay in service

We have asked for a service request for Voltas but they have not yet responded to our complaint. We were facing some problems in our air conditioner and thus we asked for a service for the company. It has been past 20 days that we haven't received any reply.
We would like to get our service done as early as possible.

Voltas — Not attending compressor complaints of Split A C

I purchased one Volas Split AC on 07.09.2008 vide invoice no. 80382 (Book No.1608) from M/s Pankaj Electronics, Yusuf Sarai, Main Road, Green Park, New Delhi-110016 with five years compressor warranty. On 19.05.2012, I lodged a complaint of some noise problem in the compressor at Voltas customer care and also by e-mail . But the voltas have not located/ rectified the same till date.
I purchased a Voltas Vertis Plus 1.5 ton split air conditioner from Reliance Digital during Jan 2011 for Rs.34, 000/- . Since inception the installation was extremely poor and shoddy. At the time of installation itself the refrigerant leaked out. That was repaired but the condensed water accumulation instead of falling out of the room started falling inside the room. The three services that were provided by technicians, was, I must state, were terrible and I brought it to the notice of Tata Voltas via email. I wrote it down in their work sheet too. Now my air conditioner has started malfunctioning, in that the unit is not cooling any longer. A service request was made on[protected] at 17.30 hrs appox and a service request docket number [protected] was SMSed to me by Voltas Customer Care. Even after promising service within 24 hours, I am yet to hear from the company. I am now repenting having purchased Voltas instead of LG whose service is excellent. The next air conditioner that I will install will not be Voltas.
We have been facing cooling problem in our Voltas Split AC for over a week. After filing the complaint against this to the customer care service, they came after 2-3 days on 8th may 2015. Then recognizing the problem they told us that there is a gas leakage problem in our AC and there will be refilling of gas by another service agents by tomorrow I, e, on 9th may 2015. But today as on 9th none of the agent came for refilling and tomorrow will be Sunday so would be holiday on that. We are thereby requesting to solve this problem immediately.
