[Resolved]  Whirlpool — Poor customer service

I had raised a complaint on 4-Oct-2010 as my refrigerator is not working (SR Number - BG[protected]). I got a message that the issue has been assigned to HSR Layout branch 123. I called the customer care[protected] several times after that and setup reminders, but nobody has attended to my complaint yet.
When asked to talk to customer care manager on 6-Oct-2010, I was told that he is busy, and sometimes when the executive forwarded the call to the manager, he did not attend the call.

I would like to raise the complaint against this kind of poor service being done by the Service center ( HSR Layout branch 123), and the customer care manager who was busy to attend the call today, as his primary duty should be to attend to the customer complaints and get the issue resolved.

Today 7-Oct-2010....still waiting for the service personnel........such shame on whirlpool's customer service....I am sure I would not buy any whirlpool product in future......

Whirlpool — Broken Fridge - No one has come for 11 days

I purchased a Whirlpool Proton Worldseries Refrigerator 450 L, on January 4th 2011. After 4 months it stopped working all of a sudden on May 7th 2011(It is still in warranty period). I called up Whirlpool and they sent some one by the name of Guru ph: [protected] to see what was wrong with it. After opening up the fridge he said the compressor was broken and it looks like it was broken while in transit from the showroom to the house. He said he would personally come by and get it fixed in 2 days as he needed a new compressor. After two days in started calling him everyday for a week to find out if he was going to come. After 3 days he started dodging my calls and not picking it up. Is this the kind of customer service Whirlpool provides? i have medication stored in the fridge and its been 11 days now since anyone from whirlpool has got in touch with me. I am sick of keeping this broken down fridge at home. I think whirlpool is selling all used stuff and not brand new. I want a new fridge as I cannot store any of my medication or food.

Whirlpool — Installation executive issue

I purchased Whirlpool refrigerator, which was delivered yesterday. Today the installation had to take place.

The executive Partha Sur(as far as I remember that is the name) calls and asks for direction. After directions are given, he starts saying, the place is too far and ends the talk saying he will see when he can come.

Then around 4:10PM I checked my mobile to find a missed call at 3:54PM. When I call back he says, he will not come as he is far away. He says he will come tomorrow.

When I ask him to come today itself and complete the installation, he says, he will see and disconnects.

I called the toll free number and they guy on the other end says, "someone will surely come and install today".

No one has come so far. It 9:06PM now.

As far as the product is concerned, I received good reviews. Its these executives who spoil the brand image.

I demand this executive to be removed from employment or (if its a contract job) the agency should be changed.

we buy a Whirpool AC Last Month , when we start the AC , than indoor unit starts but outdoor unit will not start some time it strat working automatically we registered a complaint to Customer care after 2 days engineer come for visit he says some PCB is not functioning properly i dont have now and we will replace it tomm. but today is 15th day and he still not come to replace the part. we are calling customer care every second day but no body taking any action.

Whirlpool — false promise and not to rectified air conditioner after 01 month

my whirlpool 1.5 ton window airconditiner was out of order before 1 month. i have already taken annual maintenance contract from whirlpool which sent a machinic after complaint and he take my a.c. for repair in workshop but after 15 days there is no information about my air conditioner and when i contanct whirlpool customer care they said we will contact soon but after 15 very hot days there is no response.

i purchased a whirlpool micro wave which is not in a working condition any more.i made several calls to the customer care in the last month, and since then my call remains unattended.i want some body, a sound technician should immediately.swarnali dhar, kolkata, [protected].
same thing happens to me and in the end of the day some one from customer care cancelled my complaint and i have recd sms saying my call is closed . the next day i enquired they said it is still open then after few minutes i recd a fresh complaint number which means i made a fresh complaint. when i enquired abt it they said that i have terminated my appointment. i don't know how i will do it with out my knowledge. they think we are all dump that we bought their product

Whirlpool — non availability of a door panel part

I have a Whirl pool double door Fridge and am using it for several years now, the summer opening, the inside bottle rack panel of the door, a plastic part cracked and broke may be due to bottle weight or something, What I wanna complaint is that I requested the dealer of my town M/s Quick Enterprises to get me the same and believe me the dealer has not bothered to get this part, for reasons better known to him, may be its a petty item , but as a result I can keep no bottles in the lower rack meant for water bottles,and almost half the summer is over, I don't know whom to complaint to about the irresponsible dealer, bringing down the company's name in After sales services.

Response of Engg: Confused, said he will get back However He did not call, so I called up customer care on 14/7/2011, spoke to swati who assured, it will be sorted out, but the same day got an sms stating the complaint has been closed.

However I called up again to the customer care in evening , but was assured of the solution by calling to Branch Manager in the morning post 10am. Mr. Manoj at[protected] talking to him didnt help as he was polite enough to make us wait further and frustated with the response I called up the customer care again.

Whirlpool — SUB STANDARD AFTER SALES SERVICE

Dear Sir,

I have a 400 ltrs. Whirlpool refrigerator of 2007, and I even got 1+ 6 year optional service contract for the same on additional payment of Rs.3045/-. On 3rd Sept.2011 I contacted Whirlpool Customer. Care, as the same was not working. On 4th their technician checked it and noticed, that compressor is not working and has to be replaced and next day it will be done. After that every day, I contacted the Cust.care, but they people deferred me and my compliant till now. Earlier they told compressor is out of stock. On 8th they replied me, that it has reached to us and tomorrow it will be definitely replaced, but even today it has not been replaced. I don't know, how many more days it will take during these humid summer. Every day, I use to rung them and they people give me the assurance after 5-15 minutes waiting, that within two hours, or today or next day, it will be done. And till date the position is same. Why they charge the particular additional amount for that particular period warranty, which they don't fulfill seriously in time. I am feeling mentally harassment by their avoiding and negative attitude.

Whirlpool — Refrigerator Malfunctioning

Sir/Madam,

I Anil Kumar, bought Whirlpool refrigerator 450 Liter DLX Professional on 21st Mar 2010 from one of your dealer "Sham Lal Krishan Lal" Delhi Cantt-110010. My refrigerator is malfunctioning with Low cooling since 4th October 2010 and when I see no improvement, I registered complaint for the same on 9th October 2010 with complaint # HR[protected].

Till date I have not heard from anyone from Whirlpool. I am highly disappointed with the attitude of customer care rep and the after sales services. If I call any local mechanic to repair it, this will void warranty of the product and its been one week I am getting no help. I am feeling like thrown away from one place to another. The engineer contact number provided by rep was also wrong. When I asked rep from Whirlpool to transfer call to some senior he straight away deny. Moreover he lie about his name and did not provide me his identification number. You can check in records that I have called several times to resolve this issue.

They also fail to provide any address or contact number of Whirlpool service center in Gurgaon. I have got this E-mail address from Whirlpool website.

Kindly look into this matter on urgent basis to solve this issue and help me.

Whirlpool — sucky customer care

The customer care of Whirlpool sucks!! I will suggest you not to buy anything from this company as they have a pathetic after sales service.
I bought a whirlpool double door refrigirator of Mastermind series on 9 July 2010. Since that day I am just sick and tired of this appliance.
At first the door of the refrigirator was not working properly and I complained about it several times. Then they sent a stupid guy to my home who had zero knowledge and all he did was just oiled the door and took money from me for that.
The problem was still not solved and the door was still showing problems... as a result I had to keep calling them for weeks after which they finally replaced the appliance.
After a few months I noticed water emanating from above the vegetable tray. I complained a number of times and then they again sent the stupidest mechanic. He too 290 rupees from me for supposedly fixing a loose pipe behind the refrigirator. But as soon as he left I again noticed water over all the vegetables. The water sometimes gets frozen with the fruits and vegetable and then they have to be thrown away.
I tried to call him again and again but he did not pick my phone number. I tried calling their customer care hundreds of times and all that they did was repeat some cliched dialogues like "Maafi chaahunga" but they never sent anyone else to redress my grievances.

The after sales service offered by Whirpoll is very very bad.

Whirlpool — Too much sound crate at the time of Washing.

I'm purchase the 7 k.g. fully Automatic ( White Magic 1-2-3 ) washing machine on the occasion of Dhanteras[protected] from Aditya Vision, Kankarbagh Patna. But I'm not satisfied with this machine, b'coz when machine start to wash then lot of irritable sound create. So I want to request pls replace this product. I have already 6 k.g Whirlpool washing machine, that is create no sound at the time of washing.

So kindly look this matter seriously.

We had purchase Whirlpool Washing Machine last 20 days back at Sonovision Rajahmundry branch but we are still waiting for demo. we had call them so many times but they are not giving us response to our call's so kindly look into this matter as early as possible.Everytime they are saying our engineer will be visit nextday.
