I purchased a split A/C through DAS electricals on Ahmed Nagar Road In Pune.It has never worked satisfactorily with some or the other defect coming up time and again.Since last two months it is non functional.Complaint was lodged and was told that there is a manufacturing defect with external unit(Complaint Number 0979).I was asked to shell out money for its replacement even though it was in warranty period which I still did for urgency of repair but nothing has happened till date.I am being told since last three weeks that the VP has to confirm replacement however he seems to have no time for customers and we are suffering.It does amount to ballatant cheating and denial of facility inspite of all the warranties and promises.
What does one do now.Go to consumer court ? or legal action Please suggest as I have got fed up of pursuing the complaint with no result.
A very unproffesional approach in these times of slow down.
Please Help.
I have taken washing mechine from one of the authorized dealer from pune.they said that with 2 days will reach for demo and install the mechine.but still they are not responding.even dealer is also not updating reg this.

Whirlpool 220 Litre. Refrigerator — Main Door Collapsed

I purchased Whirlpool 220 Liters double door refrigerator 8 years back from Atul Electronics Mulund (West) Mumbai 4000080.

My refrigerators main door bottom hinges are not working properly.

I have registered complaint on 6th Mar’09 to Whirlpool Customer Care (complaint no. 2761 ) the lady on the phone was Sonal Sathe, she gave me customer ID as 5555550 and said that the engineer would come to my place.

On 7th March’09 a person came, he went without proper checking of the refrigerator & said that he has a meeting to attend and promised to come again.

We have been following it up practically every day with the customer care
But there is no response from the customer care
And no engineer has turned up till today i.e. 28th Mar’09.

The problem became worst as Yesterday evening the entire heavy door along with its contents collapsed down.

Again today we called up Customer care but the lady (Sonal) is giving the same old reply that engineer would come to my place.

It has been painful & horrible experience for us & Whirlpool has demonstrated Worst, Shameless, approach towards its customer.

India Today Book Club — Non delivery of ordered items

The service of India Today Book Club is appalling. I booked an order on 03/03/2009 and was informed that I will get delivery of the goods within two weeks.

When 3 weeks had passed and there was no communication from ITBC, I called up the helpline number. The first agent just hung up on me!!

The second agent told me that the shipment was already handed over to Bluedart Courier and gave me a AWB number. When I checked the Bluedart website, the AWB number was not valid.

When I called up again after a week, the third agent told me that the shipment was not yet handed over to the courier. I asked for an email status of my order, which was never sent.

My experience is that ITBC is a bunch of liars and scamsters. BEWARE!!!

I have purchased a Whirlpool inverter / UPS from your dealer M/s SRI SYSTMES, Coimbatore, TamilNadu.Prop.Mr.Soundarrajan. His Mobile No.[protected].At that he informed that we are having vaccum cleaner offer with UPS. so, i purchased and introdued my friend Mr.saleem. He also purchased two UPS FROM him.. After 8 months also we didn't get our vaccum cleaner. When ever we contcted, he used tell once we receive it we will hand over to you. Comparatively other UPS, your cost is slightly higher. Because of Brand only we have purchased the same from your dealer. Now days he is lifting the mobile also.
Last week also i have raised the quary but till date no body shown interest to solve this issue.

Whirlpool Fridge Royal Steel — repair

Purchased fridge on 26.1.2008, Model No.10796, it got repair few days before, the main defect in cooling process, i made a complaint on 7.4.2009, and another complaint on 10.4.2009, the executive came from customer care center. but they didnt work properly, and gave improper reason, not only that and also executive says to me that your complaint creating a giddiness.very poor and worst cusomer service. kindly repair the fridge and give good advice to your executives.

I had purchased a washing Machine Sensation /neo + from DASS ELECTRIC TRADING CO(P) LID, vide invoice Number 9998PSC dated 26-10-08.The person who came for installation fund the particular piece was not proper and I complaint with reference to complaint B040148 and B240424 they have replaced the same.But the second one also have some problem .Again i have registered complaint with the number B010524. usually whenever I complain either a ask through phone what is your problem or a sent a non qualified person just for name sake to satisfy the customer. Though I have informer to the Dass Agencies where I had purchased they also say we will inform to the concerned person and give a new registration number. Though I purchased the machine to wash all our clothes as my wife is not keeping good health. But now this make me and my wife very sick.Please solve this.

India Today Book Club — NON DELIVERY OF ORDERED ITEM

I had placed the order somtime in Jan 2009. I had Rs 3100/-. After chasing and making number of calls, I was told that kit has been despatched on 03 Mar 2009. The story is being repeated by every one on customer care who by the way don't know anything of customer care . I have made 13 calls to customer care in last almost 2 months. No one has ever bothered to reply or take any action despite numerous promises made by people like Justine Fernandes, Jiten Thakur, Azim Khan and so many others. I have spent lot of money and even more precious time in conversing with so many people without any result. After almost 3 months I am still being told to wait for some more time. I have made certain queries, no one has bothered to answer these

1. If item has not reached me whose responsibility is to check?
2. Have you checked even once with your despatch department even once as to whether package has reached or not?
3. If you have to wait, you wait for how long before either package is delievered or comes back to you?
4. How is that an item on cash on deleivry reaches absolutely in time and safely but an item for which payment has been made has not been recieved as yet even after 3 months?
5. How is that I get atleast 5-6 calls in a day to tell me about new offers but despite my correspondence for last 6-7 weeks none of you neither you or customer care has bothered to check up anything beyond saying the same stupid crap?
7. What is the number of phonecalls made and emails sent by me?
8. If none of you stupid guys are unable to tell me anything beyond you recorded replies, who is the one I can approach?

My interaction with the company has been extremely disgusting. Attitude of company is that they care two hoots about the customer. It is amazing to know that after making 12 calls no one has bothered to take any action. I have been sending mails but reponse once in while only repeats the same story that we have already despatched the item wait for some time, without specifying anything. My pointed questions are not being answered. What can we do? Can this company not be sorted out.

I have bought a refrigerator in december 2007 from Digital Shoppy Guntur. in september 2008 the refrigerator was stopped working.So i complained at the showroom and they have given the auth.dealers phone number.when i called certain dealer so many times they have visited my house and told that the compressor has failed, and we will replace it in a weak.But after my thorough following and number of calls they have completed the work in DEcember 2008 by charging me 1300/- as charges. Now the problem repated in this month april 2009 .then i have repeated the same process and they are saying in a weak we will replace the compressor. what do ?
