Bloddy hell whirlpool company, always go for LG/SAMSUNG, whirlpool company has no stability in india or in U.S.A, also they donot have good selling figure in india, due to service regin, this company does not provide any email address of there higher authority person.just sell and forget.


My suggestion is never go for Whirlpool products, Always go for LG/SAMSUNG product coz they have nice service net work.
I bought Magicool 1.5 ton AC from Pankaj Electronics Yosuf Sarai New Delhi in Aug 2007 with 1year warranty & 5 years compressor warranty. There were 3 free service coupons in the service booklet. No one, neither dealer nor company provided any free service even after repeat reminders.

This year after 1 1/2 years instead of cool air it is depositing ice in the cooling radiator. Complaint was made to the service call centre bearing no. HR-[protected] on 14th May 2009. Engineer visited today on 15th May & said compressor is drawing 11.9 amps current instead of 7 amps. The problem relates to capacitor & relay which will cost Rs 2400.00 & there will be service charge of Rs 394.00. To my mind without compressor drawing higher current how can relay consume power.I resisted this unnecessay charge & tried to contact Mr.Prakash who is the regional service incharge as per company's call centre but was not provided with the correct contact phone numbers.I paid the service charge but do not agree to the problem identification.I am taking up the problem with the company to get the unit repaired under warranty.

It is a bad experience with Whirlpool.

The Engineer Jayant Kale repeatedly promises to visit but never turns up.
This consumer durable company that proclaims itself to be world # 1, needs to have a second thought on their attitude towards the customers in after sales service.

My customer ID: 2848247 / Complaint log # KL[protected] dated 08.05.2009 remains unattended till date (19.05.09) despite repeated calls to the customer service numbers & STD calls to the corporate office of Whirlpool India @ Gurgaon. The compalint is regarding a front load washing machine PUM 702, which is under the warranty period.

I am at the wits end. Can any one suggest me a suitable course of action?
I bought a Whirlpool washing machine on 3rd Feb 2007 and opted for an extended warranty and service with ‘Whirlpool- Home care’ paying extra money for that.

My machine stopped working since mid of April 2009. I have lodged a complaint on 20th April 2009. My complain number is KL-[protected].

One of you service engineer had came and after inspection he said some gear need to be changed and the part is not available now and promised to come back and get the this ready to run within next week. Since then I have made number of calls to your customer care center and every time the smart representative seating on the other end assure me with false assurance of getting it done within couple of days.

I would like to know only one thing, whether this service thing is reality for Whirlpool or this is just a fallacy and mechanism for snatching some extra amount from customer.

I AM ABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED AND WOULD SUGGEST ALL MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY ‘NOT TO OPT FOR’ ANY WHIRLPOOL PRODUCT EVER.
I too is having same problem whenever we call Whirlpoo service centres for service they create extra problem to extract money from custemers.One of the most cheater company.

Whirlpool Refrigerator Mastermind 280 Lits — The door need to be changed but that not yet done by the company even after completion of 4 months of lodging the complaint

I have lodge a complain on 19th of january 2009 regarding my fridge's door. After verification engineer told that the door need to be changed. That door has not been replaced yet with the new one even after completing of 4 months(19.01.09 to 19.05.09) of the complain lodged. My complain number is KL[protected]. I am from kolkata. Hi All Whirlpool Product User,

I would like to share my experience of whirlpool pathetic service support on Washing Machine. I logged a complaint on 20th even after 48 hours not even a single call from customer support, and no service engineer. I called seven times their call center, all the time a svery standard answer " sorry sir, we will escalte the issue " and some will attend your machine.

Its so sad, Whirlpool India is gone really bad with their service, Please think twice before anyone purchase household machines from such company and suffer latter when you need service support. It is Pathetic service I fully agree from my Experience.

Whirlpool / Air Conditioner - 1. 5 Ton — Casual approach towards Services

My unit for Window type conditioner was covered under AMC under receipt no HP[protected] dated 18.08.07 for period of two Years.Since 07th April, i had to made repeated complaits to company thru their Call center at Delhi for one or other reasons .Due to not giving due attention, i had to suffer mentally & physically.In spite of taking unit twice to their franchisee workshop for duration of 3 days/complaint for observations & rectification, unit comes up with problem after working for 3-4 days.In this regard, company's service head was tried to be contacted who was never available on phone & have no courtesy to revert on getting message.Certain mails were also sent available in record which simply were forwarded to franchisee place.It appears that the major cost involving part required to be replaced is ignored & company is just passing their liability tenure till validity of AMC expiring on 17.08.09.My repeated request are just resulting to minor rectifications .I request intervention of competent authority by penalising company acting smart in case of such problems & organising replacement o[censored]nit with new one.Await confirmation on action taken.

We had a similar experience with Bernies and a Whirlpool washer.We spent $1100.00 on a Cabrio Washer which does not complete a cycle without being stopped and restarted. Also wrinkles the clothes so they can not be worn without being ironed. Bernies told us we could not return it without paying a $150.00 restocking fee.Needless to say we are done with Bernies and Whirlpool.I had my last Whirlpool washer for 20 years and loved it. We live in a world where customer satisfaction is a thing of the past. To bad isn't it.
The split AC 1.5 Ton bought from Vivek- Coimbatore in 2008 April is due for last free service and repeated followup with Service dealer yielded no result.We have been speaking to the dealer everyday and till to day no one responded.
Metro pole marketting - Coimbatore is not at all sending service person and the system doesnot exhist.
We are interested in AMC and so far there is no quote nor response.

India Today Book Club — Non delivery of booked items

Sir/Madam,
I had booked ‘SHOE + WATCH’ with India Today, Living Media shopping on 22nd Feb’09.
Amount of Rs 1699/- was paid by me through my HDFC Credit Card, statement of my HDFC card has been forwarded to them for reference.
But
1. Till date items have not been delivered.
2. Payment has been released to Living Media (India Today) on 22nd Feb’09.
3. Booking no. is not available with me. I have misplaced that.
a. I have tried to contact customer care, but they do not have any record.
b. I gave them date of booking, my HDFC card no. through which payment was deducted, my mobile no. with which items were booked, BUT they donot know except for booking no.
c. Then I mailed at ‘[protected]@indiatodaybookclub.com’ my details on 13th Apr'09.
d. They asked me certain details like payment dfetails etc vide their mail dtd 17th Apr'09 & 21st Apr'09, which I have supplied vide my mail dtd. 20th Apr, 21st Apr. Last mail from them I received on 26th Apr 09 stating that they are looking into the matter. But after that I have not received any information from them inspite of my mail dtd 14th May'09 & 27th May'09.
Please help me.

Whirlpool / Freeze, Model 180 Premier — Machine Not working

I have Purchased the above machine having Model no. 180Primer and Machine no.9893. It is clearly mention on the machine as well on the catalouge that voltage regulator stepliser is not required for the machine. I have purchased the same on 09/05/2009 and it is not working form 27/05/2009. I am behind the whirlpool company, the service engineer and the delear for rectify the same but till date the problem is not rectified.

I also had same problem, since i purchased refrigerator model no. 8037 175 ltrs Sno. INC[protected] on[protected]. but the refrigerator started giving trouble after 4 year and i started to approach the whirlpool service centers at delhi in month march 2008 and in month may 2008 and after every check relays two times, changing of the compressor three times, filling of the gas twice and then the gas cannot even withstand for a weeks time after changing of compressor at last the compressor with stand till may 2009 now again same compressor has to be change .In my view No body should use its products..

Whirlpool Refrigerator Mastermind 23 Clx Model#10855 — Defective Refrigirator

I purchased the above refrigirator-Mastermind 23CLX Model # 10855 on[protected] vide invoice # [protected] dated[protected] with 1-4year warranty.
We found that the upper door portion which occupies 1/4 of the total volume is the freezer and has very limited use.In particular for vegetarians it is of no use practically!
The lower door portion has only 2 compartments and a vegetable box. This space is insufficient.
That apart, this piece provides excessive cooling though the regulator knobs are adjusted to the minimum. With the result, the vegetables kept in the vegetable Box rot! Milk, Curds and other food items kept in the compartments, get frozen and become rock like cubes!
We are afraid to store othe grains and insect prone items lest they also are spoiled due to wet!
We have to sit glued to the telephone to contact your Home Care Centre.to contact them at the telephone numbers given in the Use and Care Giude! Lady Luck favouring, we may get connected once a while in a day! We were lucky and so could post them with the complaint! The engineer who came to check fixd a different thermostat stating that the one inside was creating problem! but it was of no use! We could catch him again after several days and he again replaced the thermostat!
The remedy is worse than the disease! We are unable to use the refrigirator purchased at a price of Rs.15, 000/=!
As the defect cannot be rectified, I request you to have piece replaced.
Hope you will do the needful at an early date.

Whirlpool — Poor service continues

I bouogh a LG refrigeratore from Plugin one month back and the sales person told that Somebody will be coming for demo within 48 Hrs. We are still waitig for that person.

This is not just the case with Plugin, It's the same story everywhere. I bought a Whirlpool washing machine from Dass and still waiting for somebody to come for demo.

I tried to put my problem in the complaint section and it seems like not accepted.
My problem is foul smell in the fridge not able to eliminate with all the known skill for me. We left the fridge on and went for holidays and power failed for some days and on our return all the meat and fish got decayed and the smell still remains. Can you suggest any radical methods to get rid of the smell?

The website has a clear focus. While making product enquiry in the website, we are given options to choose between the twin cities and then multiple dealer names and their addresses follow. Whereas for customer care we are at the mercy of 1 number. Since 1st June 2009, repeated calling/ request has taken me to several agents, followed by the visit of a service engineer today, drawing out a big list of rectifications to be done. Also that it can be done only at the workshop. On requesting for an alternate machine in the interim, i was informed that it isn't possible. Can i safely state that the present status is because of delay in attending to service my washing machine in the first go. Request a mail to satisfy the agrieved.
The rates quoted are:
Drive assembly: Rs. 1500.00
Chemical wash: Rs. 650.00
Transport: Rs. 400.00 (Residence to workshop is not more than 1.5 kms)
Service Charge: Rs. 225.00
My whirlpool 2-door refrigeator is out of order since 4th June 2009.It is covered by AMC upto 24th march, 2011.Your service engineer, Mr Srinivas, visited us on 5th June and after thorough checking
confirmed that the sealed unit(compressor ) requires changing. I reported the matter to your Service Centre at Bangalore. They have not properly responded. Initially the complaint was registered as No3657
As the attention to the complant was lacking, a lot of inconvenience. has been caused . t had to throw away lot of perishable items kept in the refrigeratotor, costing about Rs 2500[- I booked a fresh complaint with the service centre vide No 3998 dated 10th June. On telephonic enquiry, I have been told by staff of the service centre( Miss VINEETA) that they are not.having any compressor in stock and cannot attend to the complaint.It is surprising that a reputed company like Whirlpool India do not have sufficient stock of essential spares and consequently customers are put to lot of inconvenience and financial loss. I gave two alternative suggestions as interim measure= 1). provide a stand by compressor from any of the refrigerators in their showroom or service centre until one is provided to my equipment, in due course OR 2). Provide a standby refrigerator in working condition until my equipment is repaired properly.The Service staff(Miss Vineeta) was not agreeable .to my suggestions. SHE SHOULD HAVE TAKEN A PROPER MANAGMENT DECISION. instead.of dis respecting customer's request.

tnaction and deficiency of service by your service staff at Bangalore is a very poor reflection on a REPUTED company like Whirlpol India.

It will be appreciated if you take suitable steps to repair the equpment and advice MIss VINEETA to be
more friendly and courteous with customers.

So many times company engineer come and replace it so many item . but the result is always Nil so many times they pick it there work shop and fill it gas but the cooling is not improve the latest complaint no. is G.B. So we humbly request you to change it piece because due to manufacturing defect . And at present there is noting hope for A.C. working properly .<br />
