Woodland Shoes — DEFECTIVE QUALITY | |||
I am 89 years old. I purchased a shoe Article G-4041 BK-41 woodland CS-023A,DLF City Center Phase II Gurgaon Haryana. The sole of brand new shoe crumbled completely. I returned the shoe in September 2010. But no action was taken for a year. After much follow-up the company stated that sole of the shoe was not available and nothing could be done. I requested for a replacement / refund but no action was taken. In March 2011 the showroom insisted that i should pay a sum of Rs 600/- for replacement of the sole. I was reluctant and did not understand why I should pay for a defective sole. I was forced to pay as the company was not willing to do anything about it. After some time they called me to take the repaired shoe. To my shock I discovered that they had affixed a light grey sole on a black suede shoe. I refused to accept. A month later they called me again and w/o any authorization from they pulled out the wrong color and shabbily affixed yet another sole. The shoe is unfit for use, the inner has become tight as the sole has been pulled out three times. However the company/ showroom refuse to refund the amount charged or replace the defective product. I have consistently sought a replacement / refund as neither shoe was of good quality or service done in an appropriate manner. Was this information helpful? | |||
