hello i am bharat i had received the e-mail from [protected]@sbcglobal.net that contains a 2003 word file. I downloaded the file and opened. The message written was as follows Dear Winner, We are Pleased to inform you that you have won a prize money of(750,000.00GBP) from Msn/Yahoo Lottery inconjunction with the MICROSOFT WINDOWS. We collect all the email addresses of the people that are active online, among the millions that subscribed to Yahoo,Hotmail and various Microsoft windows users, we only select five people every year as our winners,through electronic balloting System without the winner applying. I replied to the message with my details and he replied me the other message containing that the cheque has been issued by your name and has forwarded to british screening and after that he again send another mail that the cheque has been successfullly passed by the government o[censored]k and has been forwarded to the city link courier company. In the same e-mail he also wrote that you will have to do the delivery charges of your country. They wrote that Mr. Garvin Brown will come to india 4th feb 2010. If you are ready to pay 25,000 INR for the indian customs clearance at airport. He send me the account no. of mahaveer prasad and i paid the amount. Again, he asked me to pay 1,10,000 INR for the reserve bank of india for fund conversion, i paid this also. Now he is asking 3,50,000 INR. Now i realised that it is very serious matter. So i have informed you that please take necessary actions against these man. His mobile no. is [protected]. This no. is set such like that only i can call him. Thanks for sharing your experience with rest of the world. I am sure that by now many people would have become cheated with this fake mail. I hereby request the Goverment of India to take proper actions against such people who try to cheat our people and deprive the money. Its natural that when a person gets such a mail which says you win 1000000 gbp., which is equivalent to 70 lakhs in India, anybody will try to take a chance. But i request people to check the authenticity of mails before jumping into decisions. I came to know about this from my mom who is in India who got an sms msg saying she is the winner. I was sure that its someones play but still thought of just googling with that mail id which took me to these compliants.
