[Resolved]  Yamaha Motors India — bad after sale service

Sir,
I purchased yamaha FZ16 on 4th of jan 09 from vanraj traders rudrapur in uttarakhand.
the chasis no. isME121C[protected] and engine no is 21C1026493.When i went for 1st service of the bike then i only feel the worst service experince in my life. Iam riding yamaha since 1992, and this is my 4th yamaha bike till then.In 1st service the vanraj traders has neither changed the oil filter nor tightned nutbolts, they do not have the air pressure. they have not washed my bike with soap and polished, they did not lubricate the clutch, brakes and other points.their RPM meter is also broken down. and even worst they ahve charged Rs.70 for washing and lubricating the chain.
I request you to make proper service arrangements for servicing the expensive bike like yamaha fz16 in your dealers workshop.this kind of experience make a bad image of yamaha bikes among their old customers.

I had purchased Alpha scooter on
29th June from your Okhla showroom. We
had paid for original accessories like biding at the time of purchasing. However duplicate
biding were installed in the scooter at the time of purchasing . Therefore
we objected and told representatives that since we
had paid for original biding, only original biding should be provided to us.


After lots of persuasion your
representative assured that original bidding will be provided to us within 2
days however despite of several phone calls till date we have not received
original biding.
Dear Sir / Madam,

I have purchased a Yahamaha FZ-S on 19th October 2013 from Glory Enterprise Taldanga, Chinsurah Hooghly,
Via BHUSAN FINANCE at the times of down payment they advised me that this is 2 years warranty provided by company but customer can extent the warranty by paying a minimum amount i.e 777/-, I agreed & paid the same.

Still now they are not provide the any certificate / document for extended warranty, when ever i was asking they told you will get soon.

Yesterday I again visited the dealer point & asking for Extended warranty card they replied that this is not done for me. I am shocked & asking the reason but they unable to explain.


Before purchase this bike my friend advised me that Glory Enterprise is not reliable they always cheat with customer but I explained my friend that I am not going to purchase a Bike which is MFG by Glory, it's MFG by YAHAMAHA.


I like Yahamaha & trust.


But now I am thinking that my friend was right & I am wrong because really they are cheat with me.


This is painfully request to please take the necessary action against my issue.


I hope that you will resolve my issue as soon as possible.

Hi Customer Service Support,
I gave R15 for paid service to Raj Yamaha OMR Service Centre on 23rd Aug 2014. I got the bill around 8500 Rs.(Full bill is not given properly- Attached screen shot for reference). Before sending this mail, I tried calling your customer care number ([protected]) for a week, but almost after 1hour waiting also I was unable to talk with customer care support. Really I don’t know what the use of customer care number is??!!!
After paying Rs.8500 also it was the worst paid service from them. A non-technical guy can understand bike service by seeing the water wash quality. But in that itself it was the worst to the maximum. Please refer the screenshot attached which explains the quality of water wash.
General Service: Rs.500
I assume general service at least involve in applying oil on regular rusting part likes bike stand, bolts and net etc. But after I’m unable to see that not even in single place. I also assume, it involves in tyre air checking for both wheels. But when I checked it on petrol bunk, the air pressure was very low.
Disk Rear Brake, Brake Pad Kit wheels, Disk Bolt Remove and its service cost: Rs. 3248
I’m not sure, whether the brake pad has been changed or not. In case if it’s changed they forgot to adjust the braking capability. It’s just a common sense needed, after changing the new brake pad and disk we must check whether the braking is working or not !! Which they fail to do it.
I’m sure, rear disk brake can be replaced by removing the back tyre. But after spending Rs. 3248 for it, a small expectation to clean the brake areas. Please refer the screen shot attached; it explains how worst the service has been made.
Cable Clutch: Rs.81
I assume the cable clutch has been changed. But it’s just a common sense they have to tight the net and bolt at their joints. But it was not done properly. Now I have a doubt whether it has been changed or not.
As a mechanical engineer these are all my observation found. I’m really sad for all non-technical guys who do service at this centre and get fooled.
After complaining about this to the service manager regarding this, he just said “SORRY”.
Will sorry make any sense?? So is it regular cheap trick by giving bad service, giving more bills to the customers and finally say sorry to all the them??? So that no one will ask for it???
I thought to complain to consumer court, but for just Rs.8500, I can’t waste my time for this worst paid service at Raj Yamaha OMR, Chennai.
HELP NEEDED:
I HAVE PLAN TO GIVE PAID SERVICE AGAIN NEXT MONTH. CAN YOU PLEASE TELL ME IS THER ANY OTHER GOOD SERVICE CENTRE IN CHENNAI OTHER THAN RAJ YAMAHA OR IS THER THERE ANY GOOD BIKE SHOP TO RESALE MY R15 BIKE AND CHANGE TO SOME OTHER GOOD BRAND BIKE.???

If this type of bad and worst service going to continues for YAMAHA Products, I’m damn sure the BRAND name of Yamaha going to affect to the core. So please take the necessary action in order to have a good business at the Chennai location. As a Yamaha fan, it’s just a suggestion.

why don't sell the vechile without rto works because in my case i paid full cash they said they will do RTO work for me but past 20 days i can't use the vechile fully because there is no document i asked them i will do the RTO u just bring the vechile after that u hand over to me their are not agree some please guide me what is the procedure for this through motor law. They are cheating us in many way

Just for your Information. Orion Yamaha Motors Service Center near sarjapura doesn't seems to be Careful about handling ur Bikes .
Today(Nov 07th 2015), i submitted by Bike(Yamaha Version 2.0 Blue Core) for servicing and what i receive is a Total Package two Deep Scratches on my Fuel Tank .

Initially, they were in the Mood of rejecting my Concern as they were telling me that it's a Scratch from Before but i am riding my Bike from Last one Month with a lot Care and not a single scratch appear so far until i give my Bike to these Guys Today.

Was not expecting such kind of mishandling on my so much maintained Bike .

Conclusion is that, as far as i am concerned, i will look into some other Yamaha Authorized Service Center for Future Servicing based on my Today's Experience as they will simply show u the Job CARD where same old "Risk on Customer Behalf" is written.They will show u to get away from the Blames.

So, my advice is simply not give here ur Bikes or in case ur giving, Make sure and tell them Before Hand if any scratches appear, they will be responsible and don't pay a single penny .
These guys should get some good Lessons .They are simply on doing more and More Buisness rather than creating a good Customer Satisfaction Base.

MY OVERALL RATING IS POOREST on Bike Handling with Care Part.
