A 6 years old child death due to poor maintenance of bus and poor management

I am a middle class man father of two girls like Sruthi, I was really shocked when hear the news of sruthi accident.
S.Sruthi, a class II student of Zion Matriculation Higher Secondary School in Indira Nagar in Selaiyur, Tambaram, was seated on the sixth row on the bus (TN 23 S 9952). It was 4.05 p.m on 25th July 2012. Her stop, near Manimangalam koot road on Mudichur Road, was near. Sruthi got up, but her little feet slipped into a gaping hole right under the seat, into the road below. The rear wheels of the bus ran over her, killing her instantly. Students inside the bus and other motorists raised an alarm, but it was a while before the bus driver Seeman realised what had happened, according to Suresh, an eye-witness.

Sruthi and family is really condolence. I pray god for shruthi soul to reach heaven.

The accident occurred extremely by poor maintenance of bus. The management should be punished. Government strictly put some rules to avoid this kind of accidents and cancel the school license if not follow rules and not taking care of children.

Dear parents, Please be regularly check school bus maintenance and how they are pick and drop children's. Choose best vehicle for children reach the school. Dont prefer this kind schools.

I am really shocked by this incident. The principal vijayan should be given minimum 7 years RI (Rigorous Imprisonment) for this incident since he is the sole responsible person otherwise, the license of the school must be cancelled. For every incident like this, people talk about this 1 week or 1 month, then they forget and move on. The government should take necessary steps to avoid any such incident in the future if it really cares about the people of tamilnadu.

Zion school is the worst school in the tambaram area, 3 years ago one girl child aged 6 died in the Zion school
branch of sembakkam, school authorities didn't tell the parents how it happened, whether the child fell down or any reason.
They covered the whole issue under the carpet by political support.It may look like the school fees is low, that's why lower middle class peoples put their children in Zion school, that's why they have more than 6000 students studying in Zion school,
but Zion school didn't appoint the responsible person to look after bus issues like this.parents should realize that if lot of people are studying in Zion school, it is not that the school is very good and you should join your children in Zion school.

Responsible parents please admit your child in a good school even if the school fees is little higher, and you will have that peace that your child is safe.

Definitely the school (owner) is the sole responsible man behind this tragic incident, he cant wash his hands saying it is the bus owners fault.

School only collected the bus fees from the parents, its the school responsibility. the school should be closed and government must help the students get admission to other good schools.

Zion school is the worst school in tambaram area.most parents admit their children because they think the school fees is low, but parents also have to know whether the school is a quality one or not.

Zion school maintenance is very bad, even in 2009 a 6 year old girl died in the premises of sembakkam zion school, the school did not have the answer to the parents about the child's death in the school hours, and they silently put the issue under the carpet with their money support.

The school owner is the main culprit, he is trying to wash hands by saying only the bus owner is responsible.then why the hell the school collected the bus transportation fees.

The licence of the school should be cancelled and government should take stringent steps, so other schools who are also like zion school will correct their system of working.

I am not fully agreeing that school fee in Zion school is low. Even if it is low, they are collecting the full years fee well in advance (In the month of April or May) and the interest amount of this amount is more than sufficient to run the school. The teachers salary is not much and the rest of the money is gone to the management. Similarly, the bus fees also collected for the full year well in advance.

In addition to above, one student who was using this particular bus reported to Mr, Vijayan that there is a hole in the bus and it could be dangerous. Unfortunately they ignored the complaint... This reveals their irresponsibility and negligence...

As all of you said, the culprits behind this tragic incident should get the maximum punishment...

I have seen some of the parents are protesting and demanding the immediate release of Mr. Vijayan... I would like to ask them that if their Kid died in this way, will they do like this... Shame on you guys...
