[Resolved]  Country Club India — Fraud membership / vouchers

Overcommitment made by Country Club executives leading to frustrating experience.
I also need help get my payment refund which I made to Country Club.
On 22nd June 2015, I got a call from Country club saying that I have been nominated for 6 nights & 7days free stay vouchers from country club anywhere in India based on the form I had filled in Subhash Nagar Mall. For collection this free voucher I had to come along with husband at City Squre Mall (Rajouri Garden). I specially asked whether there was any other condition for the free voucher. They specifically said ‘Nothing’ just come and collect your free voucher.

So we went there on 22nd June15 for the collection of Voucher. After reaching there Mr. Nadeem of Country Club attended us & told us to attend the session to know about country club after which you the free voucher will be given. We sat with him to listen about country club.
In the discussion, he started talking about country club membership for 30 Years at a very nominal price with so many lucrative benefits for 30yrs membership. Then, he called Mr. Rohit (Sr.Manager) to explain about Membership Charges.


Mr.Rohit explained the charges (Rs.2, 83, 000/-) for 30 yrs. Membership. When we refused to take membership for 30 yrs., he said you can go for 10 yrs. Membership only in 1, 20, 000/- with all the benefits of 30yrs membership.

Still we refused to take 10 yrs. membership as being salaried person we can’t afford this type of club membership on such a heavy membership fee along with AMC charges of 8500/- per year.
Then Mr. Nadeem again insisted on choosing any plan as it was very beneficial. He then gave us offer for two vouchers of 6days/7nights which at a very reasonable price of Rs.20500/- for use in three years only.
One voucher included veg. breakfast and dinner. Then he called his senior Mr.Rohit again to explain us about these two vouchers. Mr. Rohit came again and explained about these two vouchers which we could be used in three years. He explained that only in one voucher (6 days/7nights) we can take free breakfast and dinner facility and we can use these vouchers’ anywhere in India in country club hotels. He also offered that we could split these vouchers and transfer to these vouchers to my daughter if she gets married and wants to use these vouchers as honeymoon tour. And in second voucher only accommodation facility will be provided alongwith free facility of sauna and steam bath with both the vouchers. As we were planning to go to Goa for vacations, this plan looked reasonable and we agreed to of Rs.20500/- for these two vouchers scheme.

Then Mr.Rohit said that today being of 25th anniversary of country club as special offer company is offering only 30/10 yrs membership in such a cheaper rate which was valid for that day only but as we had not agreed for membership of even ten years but they had to show our main office for membership only so you have to confirm on confirmation call for 10 yrs membership and pay only Rs.20500/- and the next day they will convert our membership in three years vouchers plan. And Mr.Rohit and Nadeem insisted on making the decision right there and promised that all the terms and conditions of these two vouchers will be sent to us within 7 days.

So I paid Rs.20500/- by my debit card and after seven days I called Mr. Rohit regarding my vouchers. He said it will take one month time and we had already sent me mail of receipt and asked me to wait for one month.

After one month I called Mr. Nadeem but he did not respond to my calls. Then I called Mr.Rohit for my vouchers. He said whenever you want to use this voucher just inform me I will issue that vouchers. I specifically asked why they were not sending vouchers as per terms are and conditions as they had promised that vouchers and agreement of all terms and conditions will be issued within 7 days. He said that voucher will expire in one year so whenever we planned to go anywhere just inform him. I said i[censored] leave the job where will I search u, You people give us vouchers with all other facility which have been promised mentioned in it.

Now he is refusing any benefits like free breakfast and dinner on any voucher and not sending vouchers and terms and conditions.

Now I understand that these guys have made us fool by offering those vouchers as we had not opted for their membership plan and coming in their trap and they have taken Rs.20500/ from us by hook or crook

Now I don’t want to have any thing to do with this fraud and cheat company. I just want my money back.

So I request Pehredar to help me to get my payment refund. I have found lots of complaints about country club for the same commitment with the other customers by country club where neither payment was retuned nor they fulfilled their promise. My Membership number is CCDL10V10LB22105 (NO club 10 yrs. 6N/7D Blue U12).
I never expected such a thing from a reputed firm like Country Club. My experience has been very frustrating with lots of false promises. I hope that my membership gets cancelled and I get my money back.

The above mentioned complaint has not been resolved till date but again they are cheating by posting that resolve this complaint.
After two days of submitting my complaint they called me and asked my bank account no. thrice and ensured they will return my payment. And fourth day again Mr.Rohit Gupta called me and said they will not give money back and offered vouchers but with no breakfast dinners coupons as he earlier promised. I again asked to give my money back. Now they are not even picking up the phone not replying any mail.
