In the Dinathanthi Bangalore Edition...dated 17th December 2014, a very disturbing picture of a rape victim was posted on the 9th page of the same said edition. The rape victim was a 6th std girl in a vellore and she was also found to be murdered.It is the duty of The Editor to make sure that the news is delivered but not at the cost of compromising the dignity of such a small girl and to ensure the peace of mind of it's readers.My family, neighbours and I found the image to be unacceptable for public display and I request the Editor to recognise his mistake and hopefully such incidents do not occur in such an appraised news daily.
