I am an avid reader ofDH from my childhood. The good old timers of Basavanagudi take pride in reading DH. There was an offer of Rs.749/- to subscribe to DH for one year and I paid the same thru Chq 139851 drawn on SBI. The agent promised that the present newspaper agent mr Vedamurthy would supplly the paper as usual. Mr vedaumurthy is an old timer in our area and I am getting my newsppaer for atleast two decades. The offer was supposed to commnce from 15/06/2014 onwards but I regret to state that despite several reminders the supply started from 20/07/2014 after a great deal of pestering and complaints. I am very sorry to state that daily I have to start my day fighting with the newspaper boy. I complained to MR>NARAIMHA MURTHY He in turn refered to MR MANJUNATH and so many others. I am a working woman and I expect newspaper to be supplied at least by 6.30 a.m. Every day I fight with the boy for coming late, atleast by 7.45 a.m. Nowadays e paper is available but I have subscribed to DH much to the discontentment of my children and other familly members just for the love of reading a DH paper every day. Now I regret because of the erratic supply many times no supply at all. Is it really worth fighting every morn breaking my peace of mind as well as the poor newspaper boy"s, for a trivial issue as getting an edition of the daily paper? He does not supply many days and nowadays I have even last track of how many days he has not! My receipt number for subscription is PYS/ 22954 dt 4/6/14. Can I expect any refund of the amount? Please adjust the two and half months subscription and mail me a Chq for the Difference amount towards refund?
