Delhi Jal Board — Fast Running of Water Meter Against New K.No. [protected]

Please recall our complaint made on 7.7.2015 and 8.7.2015 at this site as well as at customer care No. 1916 vide No.[protected] which was closed after doing a phone call that I should deposit Rs.150/- for testing charges of water meter. When we approach the DJB office at Shahdara for deposit of testing charges, they told us to give a application and concern staff will reach out home in 10-15 days for testing. But today more than 17 days are over and nobody has turned so far. Since out meter is still running very very fast and we will not make any payment for abnormal charges of Delhi Jal Board. And we will have no option for change/remove our meter and matter will be refer to Vigilance Department and to the Chief Minister of Delhi who has assured the people of Delhi for relief of heavy charges of Delhi Jal Board. For example we have made payment of Rs.4673/- for 150 unit in the month of June, 2015 and Rs.3703 in the month of July, 2015 for 100 unit. At present the meter is reached at 350 unit in just one month. Please look into the matter and excess payment charged may be reimbursed at the earliest to avoid any further problem .
