No. [protected], Meter No. 310472 Dear Sir/Madam(s), With great regret, I would like to draw your kind attention towards Unfair Customer Dealing is being done by DJB area meter reader Mr. Manjeet since last 3 weeks. Here are the details of full incidents’ for your taking necessary and immediate action please. That my water meter (old) was lost on 23.2.2015. Online FIR No. 154891/2015 lodged on 25.2.2015. Application informing installation of new water meter no. 310472 by DJB licensed plumber along with FIR, Test Certificate of New Water Meter etc. were submitted vide DJB serial number 6503 on 25.2. 2015. On 30.3. 2015 & 31.3. 2015, I have sent my son to get my first water bill issue from billing section so that I can make the payment against the same at earliest possible. Billing section has issued K. No. [protected] instantly but shows their inability to raise the bill as Mr. Manjeet has not submitted the required documents to billing section so far. As advised by billing section, my son met Mr. Manjeet but regret that he has demanding for the documents which were already submitted and lying with him. Hence, my son was returned back with empty hand as he did not aware much about these documents. On 01.04. 2015, I have visited DJB office personally and met Mr. Manjeet, who pretend to be a smart enough, asked me to submit some documents. I had requested him to check his record once again as we were already submitted all the documents to him earlier. Then he checked a bunch of paper lying with him and found that documents of mine complete in all respects were also lying with him. Despite of the fact that after more than a month has already been passed, for disturbing me he asked me to write an application again requesting to issue my first water bill. Immediately when I presumed that he is not interested enough to get the work done, I have approached to your good self for resolve the matter. You were kindly advised him to do the needful and arrange to issue average water bill as per rules. On receipt of instruction by your good self, he has prepared all the documents in front of me but due to electricity failure on that day, he assured me that he will do the needful on 6.4.15 as there were some govt./weekly holidays in the 1st week of April. On 9.4.15 & 10.04.15. I have sent my brother but Mr. Manjeet was not available at that time. He tried to check the status with billing section but they again shows their inability to issue the bill as Mr. Manjeet have not handover the file of our documents by that time also. Today, on 21.04.15 (7th visits), I have sent my son again to meet Mr. Manjeet to check the status but it is again very surprising and disappointed too that he re-assured my son to get the work done positively by day after tomorrow i.e. 23.04.15. Needless to say that from what has been written up; you would please be observed that to get a little bit of work done from such type of careless man becomes a larger project for the common man. It is also undeniable that he must have been busy in some urgent official work but he should respect the value of time of others too. At the end, I once again requesting you to kindly investigate the matter immediately and arrange to take a proactive action against him as per rules and regulations.
