Dell — Casual response & delaying delivery | |||
I ordered a Dell PC Inspiron 3647 on 7th December 2014 (PC literacy week). I exchanged my old computer and ordered the above mentioned product. The Dell exclusive store in Velachery, Chennai was the store who accepted my old PC for 2500 rupees. They told me that EMI conversion program was not working from Saturday 6th December and I can only swipe my credit card after EMI conversion can be readied. Hence I paid an amount of 4440 rupees to fix the order. From 6th to 13th, I'm calling daily to enquire about purchase, only to find the cashier/manager telling all the excuses like, they notified their ICICI bank to issue NOC (no objection certificate) and they will let me know when the EMI conversion is ready. I'm not sure how long I have to wait. Is this the common practice in Dell to treat a customer? I think it's a no shame to buy a product in EMI scheme. Is it? The manager/cashier's responses were very shabby. Was this information helpful? | |||
