Dell — Dell did not replace my laptop | |||
Hi, On 6th feb 2015, I purchased a dell inspiron 5547 with i5 processor. After using it for a month i startted facing problems with my laptop. The charging slot had an issue because of which when i connect my charger it gives me an error msg saying that i need to connect a dell 65w charger and i also started facing problems with the touch pad. THE TOUCH PAD DOES NOT WORK PROPERLY. After a few days it started giving me a blue screen error. While working on the laptop suddenly the laptop would make a very bad sound and would come up with a error saying that the System ran into an error and would automatically shut down my system. Since then i am calling dell to get tbia problem fixed. Firstly a technician told me that it is a software problem and took the access of my laptop ran some scans installed a dell fix up software to fix it. The day they raran the scan the same day i encountered the blue screen error twice. i called up dell spoke to the supervisor naming Manmeet he arranged a onsite technician for me. The technician came over on 20th June 2015 to replace the touch pad hardware and to fix the charger issue and to reinstall windows on the system. When i spoke to Manmeet he told me that when the technician will visit in case there would be a major hardware fault in the laptop like issue with the hard drive or motherboard then the system replacement would be possible. So the technician came and he checked the laptop and he told me that the harddrive is corrupt. So i told him that i have a replacement warrenty and will replace my laptop . He then called up dell in Mumbai and i spoke to a tech naming Wasim he told me that the system repĺacement would not be possible. I asked him to transfer the call to the manager but tge manager was not on the floor. So he arranged me a call back from the Manager on monday . On monday some agent called me up and told me the same thing that system replacement would not be possible. I asked him that in case i get my hard drive replaced from you guys and then again i encounter the same problem then what happens next ? He said i will again get my hard drive replace that would be the only solution for this. Now i need help from you guys because dell is not helping me anyways and its a 4 month old laptop and it is under complete warrenty so i need the complete syatem replacement. Dell is not ready to replace the system for me. I am going through a lot of mental stress as i have spend 50 thousand on this laptop and its just a 4 month old laptop and they are not ready to repalce this laptop for me .
