DTDC — Delayed delivery

I am very sorry to inform that on 21.02.2015 I booked an envelope ( Very light weight) to Pune from your Gwalior (M.P.) office. The consignment number is V[protected] in the name of Mr Shashank Jain. Your Gwalior booking office assured me that the envelope would be delivered positively on 23.02.2015 and charged Rs 240/- as special freight charges. It was an important envelope containing papers which have to be submitted by the evening of 23rd Feb. To my surprise the envelope didn't reach to its destination till 24th Feb. Later it was delivered in the noon of 25th Feb. Due to this delay I have suffered with a great loss because the last date of submission was over.
