Epson Printers — door service not available after warranty

Hi, I have purchased TX121 printer. I faced issue with respect to printer and called for complaint. Call center people says "we provide door service only for products in warranty, i need to take the printer to the service station to get iit repaired". In these days were the customer satisfaction and service is at high stake, these guys just want to frustrate the customer after sales. They are ready to provide cartridge home delivery on same day, but service :-(!!
