[Resolved] Eureka Forbes — Money taken for AMC but still waiting for service. | |||
I am writing this on behalf of my father in law Mr. CA Mallikarjuna Rao Customer no.[protected] 2 days back i.e. on 23rd November, he complained regarding non functioning of aquaguard. Last evening an aquaguard representative came and asked us to renew the AMC (which expires on 7th Dec.). He convinced us to renew it. We renewed it and paid him Rs. 4830/- in cash against the contract receipt no. 25630708. He promised to fix it first thing in the morning by 10 am. We kept calling him and he kept giving us excuses like @ 11 am office is yet to open so he is yet to collect the required parts @ 12pm I am coming in sometime. After that no call was answered so I called on the customer care [protected] customer care answered that this no. is only for North India. So you can understand how frustrating that can be for a customer when no answers your call let alone service. Anyways I told him I am calling from hyderabad and that I tried[protected] and all I get to hear is a busy tone. Scrap the no. if that is not functional. Lastly as suggested by the north India customer care guy i.e. @[protected] I called on[protected]. By the time I gave her the customer details the phone hung up. I redialled the no. and all i hear is that you can only call on this no. from 8 am - 8 pm. Now suggest what should I do? In advertisement you guys are talking about jal dan to under privileged Indians while you are not providing any service to a customer from whom you are charging money. Finally the servicing guy turned up. when I asked him, he replied due to unavailability of parts he didn't come. When I asked about not answering my calls, he kept mum. What a reply and what a service. I will remember this that I had to wait for 5 days for a service that too in Hyderabad. Had I lived in jhumri tillaya god knows what would have happened?
