Eureka Forbes — Wastage of lot of water in the uv + ro model | |||
Recently I purchased a RO + UV Water purifier from Eureka Forbes.Right from day one, I have observed that for every litre of purified water I get almost three litres of water goes down the drain as waste water.This is highly attrocious particularly when drinking water is so precious and every efforts are required to be made to preserve ever drop of it. Why Eureka Forbes is not taking steps to reduce this wastage of water by suitably changing the technique/memdrane or the process.It will be a great service the Company will be doing if it can reduce this wastage of precious drinking water. I am an unfortunate buyer of your product aquaflow dlx uv hi flo-2lit/min.I purchased it from m/s q.R.S.Kottayam in set.2014 paying rs.5700. The guarantee period was over by sept.2015.Immediately after the guarantee period it went out of service in dec.2015. After making repeated complaints the service person from your authorised service centre came and tested the unit .He told that the board has failed and demanded rs.1500 for its replacement and another rs.600 for replacing the cylinder.I could not easily digest the demand as i expected a certain degree of quality standard and quality assurance at the time of buying it, being a product of a reputed company .So, i wanted to ensure that the service agent was not over estimating the repair charges. I therefore contacted your service personnel who assured me that the company technician will come and inspect the unit.As no body turned up or contacted ever after 15 days i thought it better to resort to this measure. Is it of any use?
