Exide Battery — They are asking to take more than week to replace and even not giving any spare battery | |||
I purchased Exide InvaTubular IT 500 battery in Aug 2013 and having 4 year Guarantee. Its been twice in this one and half an year that I am suffering with this battery. This time once we complained them they said that they will take a week to replace with running battery however in this week they are not providing spare battery. In this summer there is no possibility of leaving without inverter for a week in Indirapuram where almost 10-12hrs daily cut off happening. However the last time in Oct 2014 there was same battery problem and they took our battery but placed the spare battery before picking up. Now they are saying their company has changed the policy in last year November and so no spare battery will be provided. Also the service is so poor where since last one week complaint has been registered but action been taken after a week however they just keep calling over phone and saying reaching next day but never come. Its been almost daily 3-4 times we keep calling them. I am really frustrated with their behavior and they are now straight forward saying that I should go with other company either for service. In this one and half year even no body from dealer or company came for servicing and the warranty card is empty, no record maintained. I have that copy as well. They just returned today and mentioned that customer is not given battery because of Spare battery.
