First Flight Courier — Pendrive missing from delivered parcel

I sent a courier from Gurgaon to Bangalore on 6th April 2015 and it was delivered on 8th April with all the contents except that a sandisk 16 GB pendrive worth Rs 600 with important files missing. The company refuses to claim responsibility saying that the contents should have been checked before taking delivery. The delivery boy himself signed the receipt and disappeared. The least the company could do is refund my money.
