Flipkart — Money stolen from flipkart wallet. Flipkart can't protect customer's accounts.

I had 1003 rupees in my flipkart wallet. Someone hacked my account and transferred it to [protected]@yopmail.com. I opened a complaint IN[protected] with flipkart in time and provided all the details they asked. I am not sure why they didn't take the fraud seriously. Even, if someone hacks the account, there should be some checkpoint like OTP on mobile before confirming the money transfer to anybody.

I have got following response.

Once the GC has been sent to you, you are bound to protect the GC PIN or GC number as confidential. In the event of any misuse of GC due to loss of any such confidential details due to the fault of the purchaser, Flipkart/ QwikCilver Solutions Pvt. Ltd shall not be responsible for the same and no refund can be issued.

I got the call stating that purchased product using my wallet money was shipped on 2nd February. I am not sure why it was not stopped, cancelled or requested courier partner to cancel delivery, I had already intimated about the fraud to Flipkart's customer care on 30th January.

I got the response on 2nd Feb from flipkart that the criminal has used my money. Also, they told later that the product was shipped on 2nd feb. Were you waiting for the product to get shipped before taking any action?


This is totally irresponsible behavior of flipkart. Please refund my money asap.

Just got an update from flipkart that the product was not delivered. But they are still saying that the money can't be transferred back to me as they don't have provision for it.

I am unable to understand if they were able to cancel the order and get the purchased product back, why can't they transfer the money back to me. They said that they will get back to me with updates on it. Not sure why they don't have this functionality in their system. Looks like, they need to work on provisioning so many features in their system.

Waiting for the update.

I totally agree on this. even my wallet amount is stolen and flip kart team has given the same reply.

No trust on them. Please lets us tweet this to Finance Minister on their Blog and ask them to stop Flip kart from doing Business if they cannot control Such Fraud.
I totally Agree this you, even my wallet amount is recentlly stolen and i too got the same response from FLIPKART TEAM. Noe sure why they cannot such fraud issues. I totally bet it might be their internal employees who are doing this. We need to tweet this in Finance Minister BLOG and request Govt to take necessary action against FLIPKART there by doing justice to Consumers.
