Flipkart — Refusal of credit note in exchange of an old [protected]@ Flipkart | |||
I availed a scheme on MotoG (16GB) from Flipkart which offered Rs 2000 discount in exchange on an old working phone (the list of phones was provided by Flipkart) I looked through the rules and FAQ section in which it was clearly mentioned that the customer has to pay the entire money while availing the offer and on delivery of the product, a credit note of Rs2000 will be given with the parcel. I didn't receive any credit note during the delivery of the phone though I handed over my old phone and was instead informed by the delivery man that I would be receiving an e-voucher soon after. I called up at the customer care a day after I received the phone to inquire about the e-voucher (which I didn't receive even after 24 hours) to which they at first completely refused to acknowledge the offer. Thereafter much argument, the customer care representative (Afroz Pasha) confirmed the offer but denied that there was any mention of credit note on the site. I searched online and have been able to find the link (see below) in which clearly states that a credit note will be generated after the payment and delivery is successful.
