Geepee Travels — Ticket Cancelled before 25 hours of Journey

Hi all, I recently got a job in blore. My joining date was 3rd August.I booked a ticket in Geepee Traveks from Chennai to Bangalore on 2nd August (Sunday). The ticket fare was 475, i paid the amount and the ticket got confirmed by 30th July. Suddenly i received a call on 1st August night and they inform that the bus has been cancelled and my money will be refunded. When i checked the website, my ticket was cancelled and there was a new bus at same time with high fare ( Around 1200). Due to the demand of tickets they have cancelled my ticket, now i can't book in any travels, since the time of departure was less than 24 hours. I had to book a new ticket in other travels for 1000 Rs. which was around 500-700 2 days ago. Due to the negligence of the Geepee Travels, i had to pay 500 extra. These guys were harsh on phone when i called them, they replied like "what's our fault in this". When i asked them to transfer my ticket to the other bus which was at same time and Coach (Volvo Semi Sleeper) they said they will check the possibilities and respond back asap. They never accepted any calls from my number then. So i request people not to use this travels while you travel.

Even I am in same dilemma. I am travelling tomorrow by Geepee travels and one person called me to cancel my ticket. I booked through Paytm. I am not sure to cancel the ticket or to go ahead and face them.

I had a very bad experience with GEEPEE travels. First these travels people informed me that bus is cancelled and asked to book for another ticket. But I did not cancel and went ahead with the ticket from PayTM. When I went there I did not get my booked seat instead it was a seat in the behind. Also there was a delay of about 2.5 hours (Bus took off @2:00AM) and there was no AC and finally bus break down at Krishnagiri at 5:30AM. They did not provide any alternate buses nor they paid any amount. We had to search for some other alternate modes of reaching the destination. Also PAYTM people have not taken any action untill now as I had booked the ticket through them.
