[Resolved] Gionee And Ebay — Even after having DOA certificate, they are not giving me a replacement | |||
I ordered a Gionee Pioneer P3 phone in mid March via ebay. Suddenly after a usage of 2 months, it got switched off. I went to the customer care. They took the phone and the accessories and provided me with a DOA(Defect on Arrival) certificate. I called ebay who told me to call the seller. Now, the seller is saying that he cant get me a replacement if I don't have the defective piece with me. Service center is saying that it is their company policy to issue a DOA certificate only after the submittal of the phone and the accessories. I am hung up between these two. Neither of them are replying me properly, and I dont have my money or the phone. Worst Service ever. Never go for Gionee !! And think twice before doing any online order, be it ebay or any other website. Especially when you are buying something of a new brand. Online retailers are not at all trustworthy. So we would request you to visit the nearest service centre and get the issue resolved.
Since the product is not with you we would not be able to provide you the replacement or refund for the same. We would suggest you to get the product back from the service centre and then get in touch with the seller for the replacement or refund.
