[Resolved] Goibibo.com — Charging to Refund for Cancelled Flight | |||
I was booked on an Airindia flight (AI 803) on 13 Sept, 2014, at 10:30 a.m from Bangalore to Delhi, through goibibo.com · At 4:30 a.m on 13th morning, I received a call from Airindia and was told that the flight was cancelled. · They offered to accommodate me on an earlier flight (around 6 a.m). As that was cutting it too close, I refused and they promised to give me a 100% refund. · I then contacted goibibo and they confirmed that the flight was indeed cancelled. They asked me to cancel her ticket on their website upon which she would be given 100% refund in 7 -10 working days. · It is close to 2 months now and I am yet to receive her refund. · After repeated attempts to get them to address this issue, they respond saying they would give my refund after levying cancellation charges!!! First the airlines inconveniences me by canceling the flight; then they delay repayment; then they want to charge me for it! This is downright cheating! Was this information helpful? | |||
