I and my wife booked Turkish airline flight from Mumbai to Istanbul (24th April 2015), Istanbul to Barcelona (27th April 2015) and Barcelona to Mumbai (3rd May 2015). My PNR was S3NFUR & my wife's PNR was TZKWKN. When we went too board our flight on 24th April, your ground crew did not allow us to board saying that our Schengen Visa (supporting doc for Turkish visa) was valid from 26th April and we should reschedule our flight. Fair. We did not argue. However, we were offered absolutely no help in rescheduling. She said go to ticketing office which opens at 10 AM. We were still fine with that. Strangely, she immediately marked me as no show on Mumbai Istanbul flight and so rescheduling was out of question. So I booked the cheapest alternative to reach Istanbul on 26th April so that we could continue with our onward journey to Barcelona on 27th April. When we were checking in for our Barcelona flight on 27th April, the ticketing lady said that my entire itinerary was cancelled since I was marked as no show in Mumbai. This is very strange and unacceptable for 2 reasons: 1. I clearly showed up and told them that I will reschedule. The lady in Mumbai still marked me as no show. 2. If all my flights were cancelled, why was I not informed by either email or phone. I received absolutely no intimation from Turkish Airlines. I only came to know about this once I was checking in at Istanbul airport. 3. My wife who was travelling with me (on a different PNR mentioned above), her flights were strangely not cancelled. Amazing. I was travelling with an infant. Imagine the hassle that I had to face at Istanbul airport. Also, the ticketing lady was extremely rude and said she doesn't know and cant help. Eventually, I had no option but to pay US$ 600 penalty for rebooking my flights. As I said, first of all, my flights should not have been cancelled since I had clearly conveyed in Mumbai that I will reschedule and second, even if it was cancelled, I should have been notified (http://www.turkishairlines.com/en-int/travel-information/legal-notice/legal-not... Neither Turkish Airline or GoIbibo informed me about the cancellation. I should have received some intimation immediately on 24th April itself about this. At least I could have taken some action,
