[Resolved] Goibibo.com — Goibibo cancelled booked rooms at the very last minute!! | |||
We had done a group booking from goibibo to a resort for 27/7/2014. Booking ID:127316HTL5VYPQYA Their website said that the rooms were available. We booked 8 rooms and paid the full amount. But after a few days when we called up the resort, they said that no booking was done. When we called the customer care, they said that there was some misunderstanding on rate issue between goibibo and the resort. They kept us hanging for more than 15days, everyday saying that they'll call us back and never returning one single call. PATHETIC SERVICE!!! They would not even let us talk to their managars. Only the customer care support guys (Ajita, Anandita, Amit) would talk to us and procrastinate. Then finally they gave a totally different reason that no rooms are free!!! How is that possible because we booked the rooms which were free! To cross check when we called the resort, they said that the rooms were blocked for us but pending payment from Goibibo. I dont understand why they had to play a game for 15 days! And later answer that there were no rooms free in the first place. TERRIBLE, HORRIBLE SERVICE. Never go for this rubbish site to book your travels since they can cancel it at the last moment! Worst Experience ever! Was this information helpful? | |||
