[Resolved]  Berkowits — Absolute cheaters

I had dandruff problem in my head and after seeing the advertisement of Berkowits Clinic and their Tall Claims, I visited their clinic in Gurgaon. A Lady called as Arti fully trained to cheat innocent people read my psychology and got me into a line of treatment for 15 sessions and assured me that the dandruff would go away in 3 sittings only. Not only that she told me that hair fall would stop in 6 weeks and there would be visible regrowth, which was never my intention as I have no baldness, only dandruff was my problem.

She sold me some treatment package for Rs 15000/= for 15 sittings. Post which I started visiting their clinic every weekend for next three weekends. I saw no improvement therefore asked them. They started selling me their other products related to Dandruff and also gave me some medicines, All these medicines were forced to be bought from their clinic as they aren't available outside. Then they started selling me shampoos and other products as well. They also introduced me to their Doctor Tushar, who also started medication and he gave me besides a lot of shampoos and other things tablet Flucos 150 mg to be taken once a week. All these I followed religiously for almost 7-8 weeks. In the meantime I also started seeing the side effects of such strong shampoos: my hair started becoming very ruff. Also they were using some kind of roller with pins, because of which my head used to start bleeding and paining for next couple of days, but I continued.

Post which I asked them categorically to give me in writing that after 15 sessions my dandruff would go or they should simply refund my money, which is quite logical.

The Lady Arti and Dr Tushar gave me round and round replies saying that we are here to help you and we are concerned about you. I told them categorically that I am not helpless and don't need your help or you don't have to be concerned about me. What I simply want is a written assurance that I would have no dandruff after 15 sessions or refund my money immediately, as I am not interested in anything other than the problem I had gone there for. Doctor Tushar banged my phone. I had to call up again and ask this lady Arti to tell me one of the two options which she simply refused to do and told me that we cannot help you with other the treatment. I told her you give me in writing that the dandruff would go after 15 sessions. She said that this was only a follow up call otherwise we are not interested in talking to you.

Now in the current circumstances may I therefore request for help to recover my money wrongfully taken by an act of cheating by Berkowits and their staff Arti. A sum of Rs 15000/= charged fraudulently from me, needless to mention on top of it they sold me other prescriptions worth more than Rs 5000/=
