Haryana Police — Harassment and Bribe

Haryana Police (Traffic and Local police) has the most rude public servants in their team that anyone can ever come across in India, I know why they cant improve, its the tempting bribe that they target and no challan targets and focus on public service lacking from leadership, in fact they still don't have electronic challan facility (this helps them extort and harass more). I was harassed on 17th Jan 14 around 08:30 for driving on wrong side on a One Way Road (Near Shaheed Rippon Katiyal Marg, IFFCO Chowk) I was being asked to pay a challan of Rs 1200 for driving in one way lane and after arguing with police as per Rules of the Road Regulations, 1989, The charge is Rs 100, the police (public servant) asked me whether I want to get the challan paid at court and deal with court. The officer in in rudest tone told me that I was misbehaving (In fact he was saying to me I was acting smart, tej ho raha hai tu) Later I was asked for bribe of Rs 200, I had to pay same fearing, If I'll be charged with any other fake offense by police just to harass me, because court would believe what Police Charge on Road. They should learn from their counterpart in Delhi, they have electronic challan machine, they don't harass at-least, and compulsorily charge small challan as per act, people don't fear them, and so trust the police, citizens are not forced to pay bribe nor tempted to bribe. This is because of these fellow countrymen or public servants, citizens have anger, they hate the government and the public servants. Instead of helping citizens Police Harass. Do our politician understand its these services and petty bribes people hate and have anger.
