Today morning I had taken a Bus ticket from PANIPAT to ROHTAK at Panipat Bus Stand Ticket Counter around 10:30 am and boarded the Bus number HR 46 8515 (this all happened in presence of Bus Conductor since I asked him before purchasing ticket from Counter). Bus started around 10:55 am from Panipat and headed towards Rohtak.
After Crossing Gohana Bus stand and moving towards Rohtak, around 1:10 PM Bus Ticket Checking representative came and started asking for Ticket. I gave them the ticket to my Utter Dismay and surprise they told me that this ticket is from Chandigarh to Panipat and started threatening me that I will be fined. Then I told them that I had taken the ticket from counter and it`s not possible since the bus start from Panipat Bus stand only.
Then I told them give the ticket back to me and I will file a written complaint. They tore the ticket in Front of me and throw it out of window. Then they started miss behaving with me and told you will teach us rules and regulations, say thanks to us since we are leaving u, i had not purchased ticket knowingly etc etc. I told them to ask the conductor but the conductor showed no courage to speak in front of them.
Being an alone female passenger I felt like crying because of their Miss behavior, then they forced me to again Purchase ticket from Panipat to Rohtak. I purchased the ticket and started travelling again then asked the conductor “Haven`t you seen me purchasing the ticket, He nodded in YES”. Then I asked the conductor about his name but he didn`t told me.
I felt like cheated since I have to Pay Twice for the Journey & this whole incidence has given a mental shock to me. Is this the way How a Govt. employee behaves with a Passenger that too with a Female Passenger. Was this information helpful? |
