Hathway Cable & Datacom — Exaggerated data usage listed | |||||
Hi, I got hathway installed (30gb 50mbps plan) on 31-may-16 and within 3 days o[censored]sage i receive a message that the 30gb data has been utilized and the speed will be downgraded. I checked my account and it shows usage of 10 to 11 mb for a period of average 20 hrs per day. Can you explain how this is possible? I have been using other internet services (Bsnl, tata photon) for more than 6 years and have never exceeded the limit of 20gb on an average in a month. We've escalated this issue verbally to mr. Natarajan the area manager but no action has been taken so far. If this continues i will not be paying the bill, no matter what the amount. Kindly address the issue at the earliest. Sheena A/c no. Pathetic customer care service. The data usage listed is 10000 to 11000 MB for 2 days. Absolutely exaggerated.
the same thing happened with me exaggerated gbs within 6 days they are showing that i have used all my 30gb data which is not at all possible and even said that i used 10gb on the first day of activation which i never didi how is that possible i dont know what to do I paid for three months

I'm using the same plan too. Hathway does not have their own customer care. They depend upon some 3rd party inexperienced call centers who doesn't have any idea about Hathway. I'm calling Hathway every month for some kind of technical issue. The answer that they give is "Due to an Up gradation work in your area, the connection will be down for six hours." And likewise, my allocated full usage data will be done in a matter of 10 days., according to their records. And then the 1 mbps unlimited speed sucks, as i will get only 500 - 600 kbps speed most of the times. These people just don''t care about their customers.
