Hathway Cable & Datacom — False Claims & Poor Customer Service | |||||
I have been using hathway for over 15 years now and over the years have seen a decline in their customer service. I received a promotional SMS (not email - so no proof) stating that on payment for 12 months I would receive 45 days additional service free. I requested an invoice but was not provided. However since I was an old customer, I paid and followed up repeatedly for an invoice. The invoice finally was sent on email but without the additional 45 days. Despite repeated follow-ups, there was no documentation provided, only verbal assurance. I started receiving reminder emails and calls for payment. I clarified about the offer and again requested documentation. No luck. Finally they deactivated my account and are asking me to email with a mention of the offer, else service cannot be activated.
