I served HCL for the full tenor of the Appraisal Cycle and resigned a week after the appraisal cycle finishes. I worked very hard and smart throughout the year and also got lot of appreciation all along. I got 2 back to back employee of the quarter certificates from the senior management. I was sure that I would get either of the 2 top categories for the kind of accomplishments I had in the appraisal-cycle year. But to my surprise they rated me the lowest of the rating category. This is the height of cheating your own employee.
This was done merely because I have resigned from the company and only way they can eat-up my Performance Bonus is by giving me the lowest rating of all. There is No policy in the company which says that 'no performance bonus be given to employees who resigned'. So this is all the way a tactic to cheat their employees on no good ground.
