[Resolved]  HDFC Bank — Credit card related harassment

I had a credit card ending with XX9618 was expired on 5/2014. Before expiry bank told me that your renewed card will be respective billing address.
After few weeks a HDFC credit card agent called me and informed me that my expired card will be automatically closed once I apply for a new one.So I go ahead and submitted my document.
CC Ref NO : CC[protected].
And I also received verification call for my newly applied card. After 2 weeks when I checked the status of the card by calling 6160 6161, they are saying that your expired card needs to be "CLOSED" by sending a letter to Chennai HO (Where I was told that, once I apply for new card expired card will be automatically close).

As my expectation from HDFC has been deeply hurted. Please don't waste any more time with HDFC Credit Card.
