[Resolved]  HDFC Bank — Giving promise for credit card by customer care then got rejected

Hi Team,

I received a call from HDFC Customer care (Person : Nithya [protected]) around 20 days back saying HDFC is giving Pre approved credit card since am working in IBM. I Told her 6 months before i have applied for credit card but it got rejected. Then she told "This time it wont get rejected your cibil is good we have checked already i promise you you will get the card in 5 working days". As per per promise i have give all documents same day. Some person came to home address verification also. My Cibil score is 818 its very good score. Now if i check in website its showing "Disapproved". Again i called to Nithya. She stopped picking call. Then later when i started called again and again her colleague called me back from landline number and saying its just disapproved not rejected wait for 7 days more i will get the card for sure. But still i have not received card and No1 picking call also.

Is this misguiding people that we get card for sure we checked cibil everything and its approved just need to submit documents???

Dear HDFC Bank i need credit card now as per your customer care executive Nithya and her colleague words. Any clarification please check call recording. She only mentioned all calls getting recorded and for sure i will get card. Please revert back as soon as possible.

Am having HDFC Salary account from more than 3 years.

Steps have been taken by the company to resolve your complaint: As promised by bank that they have checked all details and am getting card in 5 working days i need Credit card ASAP.
HDFC Bank customer support has been notified about the posted complaint.

Hi Team,

I have submitted compliant few minutes before and its already showing marked as resolved.

No comments are there and even i dint get any revert back from Bank too.

Whats the process to followup ?
