HDFC Bank Bank Ltd Cards Division — Credit card closed without intimation and instruction | |||
Dear sir I am an ex staff of hdfc bank holding credit card no. [protected]. I had resigned from services june 2015 and was holding this all miles card along with diners card. As per your correspondence and intimation over phone, i was told i cannot hold 2 cards simultaneously being resigned staff, i had accordingly closed down the diners card through instruction and mail long back. Since then, the all miles card has been the sole live card and i was using and making payments for the same on a regular basis. Now that only recently i have come to know that my all miles card also has been closed at your end recently. I received a sms for intimating the same that this has been done as per my instruction. Please note i had not given any instruction to close the all miles credit card. I can also see from the system that you have exhorbitantly adjusted adhoc charges for preclosure of my referred emis linked to my card without prior intimation to me. I had received one refund from ebay.com amt 3999 recently which also i could not replenish due to your irresponsible action. Closure of the referred card without intimation has resulted me with huge difficulty and i wonder how can you act so casually without confirming and seeking consent for the same when i have not given such instruction. I have logged one crm complaint # [protected] on phonebanking and await resolution for activation of my existing card with immediate effect. Please note i demand immediate callback and explanation for your action as above.
