I had paid the premium on 19.11.2014, and as per HDFC schedule medical done on 25.11.2014, I called so many times and given numerous mails to [protected]@hdfclife.com regarding the issue of policy but HDFC had failed to issue the insurance upto 09.01.2015, then I requested to cancel the policy and HDFC has simply accepted that not a single person taken the responsibility why I have one for cancelation. HDFC has reply we have accepted your requested for cancelation and your amount will be refunded to your account after deduction of medical charges. I replied to HDFCthis this is not my fault since HDFC has not issued my policy after completion of two month hence forcely I requested for cancelation of policy, hence medical charges shall not be deducted from my premium. HDFC replied This is with reference to your e-mail communication, we would like to inform you that your policy has been withdrawn and refund amount will be credited into your respective bank account shortly. Today I checked with HDFC customer care HDFC had refunded my premium but deducted medical charges. I have tried so may times to HDFC Customer care but never got any satisfactory result.
