HDFC Bank — Refund for incorrect ATM transaction | |||
On 11th May 2015, I tried to withdraw 1500 rupees from PNB ATM on J.M Road, PUne. I had my HDFC card and I entered the amount as 1500. I received 1000 instead of 1500. When I checked my account details, I see 1500 has been deducted from my balance. So, I immediately reached to HDFC customer care and explained them the brief history behind this problem. They accpeted my complaint. It was told to me that I would get the refund within 7 working days. Later, I did 4 follow-ups with the bank customer care and they always respond that the amount would be credited in next 24 to 48 hours. It has been more than 15 days now and I am still waiting for my refund. Pathetic bank service. I need my refund immediately. People at help desk are not at all helpful in nature. HDFC is one of the worst banks I have came across. Was this information helpful? | |||
