Hitachi — Hitachi Air Conditioner Service Complaint

I bought Hitachi 1.5 ton windo A/C against the advise of my known ones just going by the brand name & thinking it to be a superior product compare to others in similar range, though it was an expensive one. While there is nothing great about the product to talk about but what shocked me was their highly IRRESPONSIBLE AFTER SALES SERVICES. As per routine after I logged complaint of the A/C not cooling properly with Hitachi Service Centre, it took almost 3 followups & 5 days for their engineers to arrive & take the A/C along with the deposit for the repair. It has been 7 Days in this Hot Summer & I have been calling them (Customer Care, there Service Centre in Delhi - State Agency & their Office Man Mr. Anurag)... My Kids are suffering at home & I have been behind them & getting a reason that cooling coil is not available. Can't believe that a company like Hitachi who may be selling 100's of A/C every day do not have a cooling coil available for 1 air condition repair in Delhi. This is the pathetic state of their service as the whole focus is on selling machines & not after sale service. Now I regret my decision of taking Hitachi Air conditioner & advise to everyone that whenever we are burying a electornic product, dont go by just brand name or value but check for the after sales service quality as every machine will need it sooner or later. That is the reason Maruti & Hyundai rule the Indian roads. Till date I have been trying to reach some Sr. Person in Hitachi but unable to get any such contact from their customer centre or even their staff in Delhi.
